Dr Slivka reattached my Achilles tendon and replaced my hip. He's an excellent surgeon!

This doctor is horrible. 14 yrs ago he told me I was fat and needed to go for a walk, but i couldn't because my knee needed surgery and had just given birth to a 10 lb baby. He treated me like i was a drug addict constantly investigating as to why i was even in his office. So i got another doctor and duh had to have surgery. Then guess what? I lost 57 lbs. Can't walk when only 1 knee works! That's why i went in to see him. So i could get better and take my life back. This guy is trash. He is constantly being let go from practices. Tri Health just let him go recently as i had to see him in 2019 through them. He was still just as mean and rude. But Mercy has let him go before also. I mean that should tell u something.

Fantastic - he did both my knees - no pain after surgery - I would recommend him for anyone who needs a knee replacement.

I went in today to discuss problems with my shoulder. I do have a complete tear of my left rotator cuff. Dr. Slivka seemed uninterested in what I had to say and basically kept trying to disprove the fact that my x-ray was normal. I clearly saw the tear in my shoulder. I do not think he likes treating black people because he was kind of rude to me and barely even examined me.

I had a vertical tear in my meniscus as well as a large cyst in 2013, a horizontal tear in 2014, and then just complete deterioration in 2015. Dr. Slivka did a great job cleaning out my knee in 2013 and 2014. I felt great after both scopes. The reason I am writing the review though is he was aware of my problems and was respectful, and not egotistical, enough to refer me to a surgeon that could replace my meniscus. If anything happens to my other knee I will not hesitate to go back to him.
