Unprofessional Experience with Dr. Toni Lin
I was referred to Dr. Toni Lin for a foreign body in my right hand. She initially reassured me that removal would be simple and offered to do it right away, but after a previous painful experience at urgent care regarding the hand, I requested to reschedule to mentally prepare. At my next appointment, an assistant informed me that Dr. Lin had scheduled surgery during my appointment. Despite the assistant numbing my hand twice, the object couldn’t be removed by the assistant. I later called and asked for Dr. Lin to perform the procedure in-office as promised the first time but this time with a sedative but was told she would only attempt it again but was unwilling to provide a sedative. As a result, I am left with the pain and discomfort of the foreign body in my hand and have decided not to return. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the surgery, both financially and mentally, after this disappointing experience.

Hand Surgery
Dr Linn performed surgery on my thumb after losing part of it in an accident at work. I checked reviews before selecting and was so glad I did! She has earned her high rating and it should be known. She is top notch from beginning to end. And my thumb looks amazing compared what I had envisioned. One of the best around in my book and many others by her reviews.

Best hand surgeon in Indy
Raising an active teen boy means multiple broken arms or wrists which means several visits with Dr. Lin. Dr. Lin was exceptional with our son from accurately diagnosing complex fractures to treating my son with utmost compassion and care. She personally did all the follow up treatment including casting him, often done by a PA. Because of her excellent care, my son is back on the court playing all the sports he loves.

Best hand/wrist/elbow ortho in Indy!
Dr. Lin is an amazing physician. As I’ve aged, it has been my elbows and hands that have decided to give the most trouble. First, it was Tennis Elbow. Dr. Lin quickly resolved my bilateral TE without surgical intervention. I have been asymptomatic for years. Next, tigger finger set in bilaterally. Dr. Lin got me in, injected, and on my way in no time. My hands have been great ever since. Just recently, I completely tore my dominant arm biceps tendon. Within days of the injury, Dr. Lin surgically repaired my right biceps tendon at the elbow joint. I was pain-free in post surgery recovery and have remained such ever since. This amazing, talented surgeon is incredibly knowledgeable about her orthopedic specialties. It is also unequivocally clear that Dr. Lin passionately cares about her patients.

5 Star Diagnosis and Treatment
I am so grateful Dr. Lin diagnosed the source of my pain and fixed the problem. In fact, I referred other friends to her, and they had the same successful outcome and positive experience with Dr. Lin. She is a pleasure to talk with, compassionate, and highly competent. I had increasing pain in my wrist. It kept getting worse until it was debilitating. Pain would shoot down my hand into my fingertips and up my arm. I couldn’t close my hand or grasp objects. Dr. Lin, in her kind manner, asked questions, listened, ran tests, and did a very thorough examination. She not only diagnosed my problem, but the treatment she gave me fixed the problem, and I was able to return back to normal life!! That is why I refer others to her as well.

Not even a one star
She operated on my left hand.it was the worst experience of my life. She appeared to be very caring before mr surgery, however after the surgery she didn’t care what happened or how much pain I was in. She was very rude and non caring. She did my left wrist in October said it would be healed in 2 months and even scheduled surgery for my right wrist in January.it has been 5 months and my left hand is causing me more pain than before surgery. Needless to say I DID NIT let her do my right hand. Anyone out there thinking about letting her operate on your hands please don’t. Don’t let her cause you more pain.

Carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve surgery
Dr. Lin and her surgical team were professional and caring. I had every confidence in them before and after my surgery. They called to check on me at hope and made sure that I was ok. I would recommend Dr. Lin to anyone who needs this type of surgery.

Very Personable!
I had severe CTS. On both hands! Elected to do the surgery and we did one at a time. Dr Lin was very knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and spoke to you AND listened. The staff as well was great. There was no “stupid” question. She gives you options and you both decide which would be the best course to do. She sees you before and after the surgery for other questions or concerns. I wish this had a million stars. That is how comfortable I was with this doctor. She knows her field and wants your input as well. Great personality, Great Listener, and Great empathy for her patients.

Rude and threatening
Surgery to place screws in a broken finger. Actually threatened me with a second surgery, saying she knows how I don't want general anesthetic. I CAN'T have general, as I have health conditions that could cause me to die under general, but she doesn't care! I do NOT recommend this person.

Dr. Lin is an awesome surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner! She performed surgery on my wrist for bone on bone arthritis in August 2021. She even called to check on me after my surgery the next day. She showed great care for me at every appointment. I’m very pleased with my results! No more pain! The office is very organized and all the staff were polite and friendly! If you are looking for a great hand surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Lin!

Saw Dr. Lin today for the first time since she released me 2 years ago for index finger joint fusion surgery. Loved her then and still think she is one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is so very compassionate and gentle and just so so kind. I wish all my doctors had her bedside manner. I had to come in today because I had injured the same finger as she had performed surgery on in 2019. Unfortunately, I have broken the top joint just below the cuticle due to falling on it 2 weeks ago when I was extremely sick with COVID. I had immobilized it myself with multiple bandaids which I think helped it from being any further damaged. She splinted it and I will go back in 3 weeks for a recheck. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Lin....she is just the BEST!!

Wonderful Dr. I liked her "bedside" manner. She was on time' good eye contact, and a good communicator. I went to see her for trigger finger on both hands. Thought I would be having surgery. Dr. Lin suggested injections after a thorough hand exam. I'm glad to say they worked, no surgery needed.

Dr. Lin is the best. Compassionate, caring and very patient. I am scared of everything, and her patience and sincere compassion is what got me thru this. I had trigger finger release on my thumb, index and middle finger. She was completely upfront and honest about everything!! I'm on the mend now, and would recommend her to any and everyone. She is amazing!!@

I met with Dr. Lin and she verified neurology results of carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome of my left hand and elbow. My hands would go numb sporadically during the day and made motorcycle riding especially difficult as it affected my clutch hand. She explained how she could correct these issues with outpatient surgery. Surgery was one of the most well organized and efficient processes I had been through. I was introduced to the surgery team and they took care of me and finished in less than an hour. After a short recovery I was on the way home. Dr. Lin called the next day to make sure I was doing okay and to answer any questions I had. A week after surgery, my hand was back to normal with no tingling or numbness. I did follow the recommended finger exercises and feel the outcome was exceptional and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Lin to anyone.

Dr. Lin is an excellent surgeon. Not only is she skilled in surgery techniques, but she is kind, caring and easy to talk to when meeting with her. She personally called to check on me after both of my hand surgeries. She continued to call and check on me and make changes in my medication when pain persisted. When returning for follow visits scheduled with her P.A.'s, Dr. Lin also stopped in to check on me and answer my questions I would (and have) highly recommended Dr. Lin.

I was so impressed with her knowledge and not just text book answers about my carpal tunnel syndrome. She made me feel comfortable and at ease about my surgery. Dr Lin's staff is very thoughtful and kind. She personally called me after my surgery too! At my post op appointment she gave me the guidance I needed to have a complete recovery. I followed her post op directions to a T which also aided in my speedy recovery.
