Unpleasant experience
I can see from some of the reviews that you either have a great experience with Dr. Brown or a very bad one. I wish I had read the negative reviews before I saw him. In agreement with other patient’s reviews, I experienced an arrogant, condescending, rude, and accusatory Dr. Brown. He turned on me suddenly in my last office visit and basically kicked me out with no provocation on my part. I’ve never had this kind of negative encounter with any health care provider. I was told not to come back, and believe me, I wouldn’t have anyway. I caution anyone considering being under his care. No Dr. should ever treat a patient this way.

Someone I can trust.
Saw Dr Brown for an ongoing problem, arthritis, in my right foot. Have seen him for several things over the past decade. He always has an answer, even though in this case, I don't like the answer I got. After following his recommendation, he was right, as he always has been. He is a very personable and considerate young man, but more importantly, very knowledgeable. I always feel he listens carefully to my concerns ANF worries.

Encouraging, professional and helpful!
This was my first visit with Dr Brown for an on-going achilles tendon pain issue. He was caring, professional and helpful in a diagnoses and advice for at home treatment.

Dr. Brown was friendly, professional and thoroughly explained what was going on and why my condition would take so long to heal. He's conservative in using surgery as an option, depending on what's wrong, and I appreciated that. Highly recommend him.

Professional
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Dr Brown was very personable and refreshingly honest about treatment and care. I liked the whole visit considering it was all for arthritis. It stinks getting old.

I had severely damaged my right ankle in October of 2017. In November, I had surgery. Dr. Brown performed that surgery. Because of my diabetes and other medical issues, I had to have surgery 3 times on that same ankle. I then broke my left ankle in May of 2021. I was referred to another doctor who stated that if I wear my diabetic shoes and stay off my ankle, that it should heal within 6 to 8 weeks. That was 9 months ago, and I didn't like the way that my ankle was "healing" I contacted Dr. Brown's office to see if they would take my insurance. I had to get a referral from my primary doctor and set up the appointment. Since Dr. Brown knew about my medical history and the problems with my ankles, he took x-rays to confirm that I needed a cast for my ankle. That my ankle was not healing properly and without this cast, one more fall or break will result in amputation. The woman at the check in desk, however, needs to have an attitude adjustment.

I had a consult with Dr Brown and he recommended surgery for my linsfranc injury. I told him I didn’t want surgery if at all possible and he took the time to explain my options and likely outcomes without judgement or attitude. As a result I am confident that surgery is the best option and I’m glad I found Dr Brown and he will perform my procedure.

Unprofessional, condescending, terse, rude - nothing you want in a first visit to a surgeon! I couldn't believe it! I wanted to walk out of the appointment, but hung in there hoping he'd come around to being a real human being - but NOPE: he's a total HORRIBLE persoson! I Emailed their billing department asking for my copay back because he was the WORST!

My foot was seriously injured in April of 2020. My final follow-up visit with Dr. Brown was in July 2021. Dr. Brown was excellent throughout the entire 16 month-long ordeal. He fit me into his schedule very quickly after my release from the ER and immediately started me onto a solid path for recovery. He explained EVERYTHING, the timing for surgery, the long recovery time, what to expect, what NOT to expect etc.. and took time to answer all of my questions. He took extra care with several follow-ups in making sure I was maintaining the best path for recovery, including his reference to an amazing physical therapist who was able to get me walking and weight bearing again faster than most patients in my condition. This was a life-altering event for my family and me that could have been so much worse, but Dr. Brown took the time and effort to help make it better. Words cannot express how appreciative I am for the outstanding service I received under Dr. Brown's care.

Forty years ago, my ankle was crushed between my motorcycle engine and the door frame of a U-turn'ing car in front of me. They put it in a cast for 8 weeks and then wished me the best. Over the many years of dealing with partial movement and pain, every doctor I saw said all they could do was fuse my ankle - I chose the pain. Last year my wife had a hip replaced by one of Dr. Browns partners, and she suggested I contact them ... so I made an appointment to see Dr. Brown - the ankle specialist in the group. X-Rays were taken, and I waited for Dr. Brown to give his consultation. I was fully prepared to hear what I had heard all the many prior years. When he came in, he said: " I can fix this". I welled up inside and was beyond happy .. soo much so, that I couldn't talk. He proceeded to show me in the X-Ray what was wrong and how he could make it right again. On my way out, I saw Dr. Brown, and he said: " We're gonna take care of you." All I could do was give him a thumbs up.
