I had an appointment with Dr Markerian to get a referral and it went well. But when I saw him the second time I had an immediate need for medical help. He refused to help, said that was my orthopedic doctor’s job. I explained that it would take 2 weeks to see him and my health crisis was urgent. He literally said he didn’t know what to do. I was absolutely desperate for help, sobbing and pleading. He then started talking down to me, said I should get over it because others have worse health problems. His treatment of me was completely unacceptable, no compassion, no concern for me, he only wanted to write referrals. Finally I mentioned a medication that I’d been told was helpful, and suddenly he knew that that particular medication was good for my issue. Then why didn’t he say that earlier???I was in tears for almost the entire appointment and he told me he couldn’t and wouldn’t help. I don’t know if he didn’t like me, or women, or is he actually that cold to everyone?
