Dr. Goldgar is excellent
Dr. Goldgar has been my primary care physician for the last 3 years. I have had seen many internal medicine specialists during my more than 70 years, and she is one of the best. She is caring, competent and creative, and will take the time to thoroughly discuss your problems. She is an excellent communicator; when I send her a message through the MyUCLAHealth App, she always responds within 24 hours, sometimes sooner. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing an internist.

She has the worst bedside manner and is very cruel and insensitive to her patients! Move on if you are seeking a decent human being.

Sarah really takes the time to go over the details of your health and is thorough and thoughtful. More importantly, she's really smart at figuring out what is going . I don't know who these haters are on here that left those low stars but you are wrong! Thank you Dr. Goldgar!

I was about 5 minutes late due to a person taking awhile to check in in front of me (totally my fault). I heard Dr. Goldgar talking loudly about me in the hallway, saying things like "you know, I'm going to take the physical first because she was 5 minutes late and she was last time and I'm sorry but if you wanted to be seen on time, get here on time." After the physical, I heard her talking again saying "she's the one who is so difficult" and "it's always so difficult", to which someone replied "oh I remember you talking about her." She made me wait a total of 3.5 hours, always saying things to people like "she has sent me SO many messages and they're always a novel." A LVN came in to tell me my wait would be another hour. She saw me sobbing, knew I'd heard everything and told Dr. Goldgar that I was upset. She still proceeded to make me wait. When she came in, all she could say was "I didn't mean you were difficult AS A PERSON." No one should see her. She's beyond cruel.

Extremely helpful, very comfortable talking to her. Always on time, have never had time wait for a long time like most doctors offices. Very easy to get appointments and refills through MyUCLAHealth portal.

Extremely unprofessional. Smiled and giggled while giving me a disease diagnose and then prescriped me an inhaler that needed authorization. This was over a month ago and after 7 phone calls with no return calls from the office, I had to come in for an answer. Please go elsewhere for actual health care.

Incredibly unprofessional. When discussing my disorders she would give me a perplexed look and say "That's weird". She did this repeatedly. She gawked when I told her the medication I was on and insisted I try another medication. I told her that medication does not work for me and she continued insisting that the medication I was on was poor for me. I have never been more unsettled in the presence of a "doctor" who kept saying all my illnesses are "weird" and acting confused by each sentence I said. It was so unprofessional that I left feeling confused as to how UCLA even hired her. Zero bedside manners, zero professionalism, total disrespect. I filed an anonymous review with UCLA as well.
