Exceptional treatment
In a second visit to UCLA urgent care due to acute cold symptoms I was seen by Dr. Aronin. Very friendly, serious and professional. Patiently heard about my complaints, asked to the point questions and came up with a plan including blood work and X-ray. Immediately after the x-ray results came, he sent me a message to let know that it was negative. I didn’t have to follow up. Then today when I saw that there are test results, again, immediately a message from Dr Aronin summarizing the results and asked to continue on the plan. I know that Dr in urgent care see tens of patients in a shift and I was amazed to see that Dr. Aronin was caring for me even more than 24 hours after the visit.I have not encountered such caring, professional attitude before and I am well into my seventies.I want to take this opportunity to thank him again

The best primary doctor I've ever had
I've had the pleasure of having Dr. Aronin as my primary physician for the last several years. Unfortunately I'm moving to OC and will no longer have access to his service. Dr. Aronin is always on top of my care. He proactively give referrals, prescriptions, imaging, and tests for any health issues I have. He's compassionate, optimistic, and truly cares about his patient. Any patient is lucky to have him for primary care.

My 2nd best Dr ever at UCLA
Dr Aronin, who I researched before going to him as my primary doctor, has been nothing but caring, informative and helpful in all my medical care needs. He even came to the emergency room to ensure I got the best possible care from the doctors. I don't know if he did it because I am a POC or if it's his general nature. He's very compassionate but will tell you the truth. I never feel rushed through an appointment and the follow up from him has been thorough. I like a doctor who can give it to you straight with a smile. I would recommend his patient care to anyone needing a firm but caring physician.

Pathologically untrustworthy
Dr Aronin told me so many untrue things to me so many times that I was forced to move on to a new doctor:1) Dr Aronin writes in my medical records that my WBC is always high. I came to find out that all my WBC were either normal or borderline normal.2) Dr Aronin said that my testosterone level was low and that he was referring me to endocrinology. I came to find out that my testosterone level was perfectly normal.3) Dr Aronin states in my medical records that my RBC are always “Very high”. I was referred to Hematology where I was told that my RBC was either normal or borderline normal.4) I asked doctor Aronin to enter an order for me to check my creatinine level and all he responded was “Entered”. He failed to tell me that he secretly entered a variety of other orders that I didn’t need. That’s a fraction. Dr Aronin cannot be trusted and I would run for my life if I was considering using him as a doctor. He is a fear-causing doctor who won’t tell you the truth.

Look... I don't know who these people are that wrote these reviews.. They are probably family, friends, and co-workers.. I bought into the UCLA hype machine, and believed I would get the best possible care for my situation.. I was very disappointed.. UCLA practices churn and burn type of medicine.. All they care about is making money and sending you off to expensive specialists for expensive testing and at the end of day you still won't have a diagnosis or treatment.. My insurance and I spent 3 months and over $8000 going through the UCLA health system and it was a complete waste of time and money.. Dr. Aronin is simply there to write referrals to specialists and testing.. After he told me I could die at any minute, he billed me for the phone call $540.. He lacks bed-side manner and mistook a stroke for a heart problem.. I have a lengthy review of Dr. Aronin and UCLA up on Y e l p.. Please visit Y e l p to learn more and do a search for Dr. Aronin.
