No longer a sleep doctor.
The CPAP supply company contacted his office for a new prescription. They were told he is no longer doing sleep medicine and they should contact my primary doctor. I received no notification from Dr. Friedlander that he would no longer be my sleep doctor. He just dropped me cold.

My daughter has been dealing with them. Dr. Friedlander lied and added additional symptoms she doesn't have into her record to qualify her for a CPAP that the medical supply company and the insurance company said she didn't need based on her sleep study. This is holding up a surgery for a life threatening condition. Her sleep study didn't show enough instances to diagnose sleep apnea, but he did anyways and now is refusing to give her a copy of the results. The rude office staff won't answer the phone if she calls, but picks up immediately if the number is blocked.

My PCP made an appt for me to see Dr. Friedlander. I get there NP said I had an appt with her instead which I didn't. I drove from very far to sit there for 10 mins to chat then I was sent on my way with nothing done. Though she was nice, it was disappointing. The office staff was very unprofessional, I received 2 conflicting phone messages on what to avoid before my appt. and wasn't timely enough before the appt. And why did I need to avoid these things when nothing was going to be done? After my appt the staff was confused on questions of my next steps, and not friendly with all phone calls I made there.

I was referred to Dr. Samuel Friedlander as a result of a completing a sleep study/ Polysomnography which was a pre-requisite for a surgery I needed. Well as a result of the sleep study the findings were that I needed a CPAP. At first I was very skeptical. After all who were they to tell me whether I got a good night’s sleep. I could fall asleep at the drop of a hat and could sleep nine hours or better. Well after listing to Dr. Friedlander explain the results of the tests, and because I had to to get the surgery, I reluctantly went ahead with using the CPAP device. Dr. Friedlander assured me I would see a difference based upon my tests. After the first night using it, I awoke with lots of energy and no longer needed my naps in the afternoon. In fact, I did not even need to sleep as many hours either. If it were not for Dr. Friedlander, I would had never of realized I actually had a problem. I am a believer now though.

I saw this sleep doctor upon referral from my general practitioner. Immediately upon sitting down with the doctor, I stated I would not be interested in a full sleep study as I had had one two years prior. We talked about my medical history and a few issues that could cause my tiredness. The doctor thought a sleep journal might provide some answers. I remember this visit to have taken no longer than 10 minutes before the doctor was through with me. Those ten minutes were charged to my insu

Dr Friedlander takes time to explain things to you, and you never feel rushed. I have never had an issue with scheduling appointments ,obtaining medical equipment, or dealing with my insurance company when I encountered problems. His staff is as equally professional and caring. First class service/care. I would recommend Dr. Friedlander ‘s practice to everyone.

Run away! Staff is incompetent. They don’t return phone calls. Dr. Freidlander emailed a completely false statement to my PC just to cover the incompetence. Don’t waste your time.

Incompetent Staff. Very hard to make an appointment because U make an appointment in person n they say on the appointment day why are U here. You show up for your appointment n they say ur not supposed to be here. Come in on Friday. On Friday they say why are U here? Come in on Wednesday why are U here? Complaints to Dr. Friedlander go no where. At this point, they are either stupid or incompetent or both. Don't waste your precious time n money on this Doctor n his staff.
