Dr. Sami Diab, MD

Dr. Diab is a 'better than good' oncologist that I highly respect. His professionalism, knowledge and caring are 2nd to none. He takes the time to review with me my test results and explains in detail our next plan to attack this rare and dreaded cancer disease (neuroendicrine tumors) that I am contending with. I also want to commend his support staff, (Jennifer, Miranda, Marissa, Sarah, Cody, Lindsey, Marilyn, Shannon, Margo and all the other staff members to countless to name throughout the last few years that have been part of my care), for there kindness, respect and comfort that I receive at every visit. For without them and their commitment to my care, this journey in my life would be very much more difficult than it is. Thank you Dr. Diab and your team of professionals. I very much appreciate all that you do for me.

We transferred care to UCH for my husband's complex cancer journey. The best part of the process was Dr. Diab. He guided us with honesty, optimism, and the best of care. Dr. Diab is the rare expert medical oncologist who really puts the patient first.

I am not sure I wrote the correct number for the CA125. When I was diagnosed it was 220 and is currently 14.8. I have been very grateful to have Dr. Diab's guidance.

Always in a hurry, first appt he spent enough time with me to lure me in. Now, 3-5 minutes. ALWAYS jumps to the worst possible scenario (Brain cancer when I have migraine and wants a brain MRI. My liver always numbers go up and down, he wanted a CATscan-my liver is fine). My cancer had not spread to lymph nodes, was cut out, so how could it be somewhere else in 1 month? He does not take the time to get to know YOU. There are better oncologists out there, keep looking folks. Good Luck!
