What has also impressed me about Dr. Basche is how well she really listens to what I say and have concerns about. I raised a concern at my last appointment, and she added some extra blood tests to be done. As a result, we discovered that my levels on one blood test were low, and she adjusted my medications accordingly. This is just the most recent example of how well she listens, adapts, and tailors my treatments accordingly. I respect her expertise and trust her judgment. She does an outstanding job not only with listening, but also with explaining her reasons behind her decisions, explaining the pros and cons of any choices I need to make in ways that I can definitely understand in order to make informed decisions. I’m grateful she has been my oncologist.
