I have been a patient at Physicians & Midwives (Advantia Health) for years and have always had excellent experiences. Both of my children were born at Inova, and I’ve had wonderful OBGYNs and midwives through this practice. Dr. Andre and Dr Kisthardt are exceptional OBGYNs.Efficiency & Wait TimeThe receptionist at the front was nice and helpful. The office was efficient—I arrived early and was seen early, which I appreciated.Dr. Bhat's Bedside Manner & EngagementUnfortunately, my visit with Dr. Bhat was disappointing. She lacked bedside manner and came across as cold and disengaged. Despite being seen early, she seemed rushed, and the appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. I left feeling unheard.Communication & Medical KnowledgeWhen I asked follow-up questions related to my past medical history, Dr. Bhat did not explain things clearly and seemed unfamiliar with my symptoms or ways to manage them. Rather than offering any insight, she simply told me to see a specialist. While

Made an appt for my annual with this new Dr at my practice. Arrived 10 min early, checked in, confirmed check-in when I wasn't called back for 25 min, was seen over an hour after my arrival by an NP (who was AMAZING) and in between no one told me I wasn't seeing the scheduled Dr - turns out she wouldn't see me bc I was 'late' when actually she is the one who never showed up. Confirmed again with front desk that she checked me in - it's just the Dr and her nurse who didn't bother to come get it. I'd give a 0 star review if possible. Awful care, bringing down the P&M good reputation.
