Dr. Samer Sannoufi, MD

Phone Appointment due to COVID-19 I just wanted to take my time to write here to tell you guys how much appreciated I am to have you guys apart of my Journey. And I have a lot of health issues. And Dr Sanoufi did it again saved my life. So so many issues now most have been down to a couple But 5 years I think or more hes Been my Doctor. I just wanted to tell you that YESTERDAY I ALMOST DIED I WAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 I CALLED DR SANOUFIS OFFICE RIGHT AWAY WHAT HE PRESRIBED TO ME LITERALLY JUST WORKED IN SECONDS I CAN NOW SMELL AGAIN TASTE AGAIN. I SUFFER FROM ANXIETY SO JUST IMAGINE HOW I WAS FEELING THE WHOLE STAFF IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU WITH SWEET LOVING CARE. THANK YOU AGAIN LOVE DONNA CHANTHALIMA

I will not be sharing my personal story on why this doctor made me uncomfortable due to privacy. I will say that if you are a young female, please bring someone with you. This doctor also doesn’t care about his patient and is solely motivated by money.

Every time I visit he knows exactly what’s wrong and how to help me begin to heal. Sometimes the wait is a little long but it’s so worth it. He’s brief and to the point. Very dry personality but so not be offended, he’s very very smart.

I am happy that after multiple failures to find a good doctor I finally found him !Dr Sannoufi amazed me with his ability to think out of the box , he does not just go with protocol or use google ))) ,but really knowledgeable , smart and attentive . I also appreciate he speaks multiple languages ( Russian with me and Arabic with my husband )...Another important thing - Dr Sannoufi doesn’t rush his patient like many other doctors . He will spend as long time it takes to understand the problem and solve it ...

I am surprised at the bad reviews about Dr Sannoufi. I love him! I feel like he does take time with me. Yes, he does review the results of tests while you are in the room, but I see no problem with that. He is getting the latest information available, fresh in his mind so he can make a good decision about the next plan. Of course he is trying to build his practice, and sometimes there is a wait to be seen. The office personnel for the most part are OK, though he has had some turnaround in employees at the front desk. All in all, I think he is a good, caring MD. He has never rolled his eyes at me, and has often taken extra time to help me when it was needed. I have no complaints! In fact, I am hoping to be able to keep him as my MD even though I have relocated down to north San Diego county. He is worth the drive to me!

Dr. Sannoufi is not a good doctor. His medical knowledge seems minimal. Only when I come to his office does he pull up my xray, lab and medical reports/results from other doctors/providers and start reading what is happening with his patient. The other doctors could have recomended something that Sannoufi should follow up on or do for a patient right away, but he will only know when you come to his office; then he starts reading your reports while you are sitting there. This is laziness and dangerous for the patients. I hung in there with him for way to long. I finally had enough. I should have left his practice a long long time ago.

I honestly do not know where the positive reviews for this doctor come from. I went to him after my cardiologist recommended him. Really liking my cardiologist I trusted his judgement at the time. I have struggled with my health for the past 13 years and have come across many many doctors. Dr. Sannoufi has an arrogance that impedes him from simply listening. Listening is a quality that comes with being a good doctor. Not interrupting a patient every other word before they answer a question is a must. Along with the arrogance comes his rudeness. For someone who has that much education it is hard to believe that there are no basic manners. Like not rolling your eyes when someone is talking to you. Or saying please and thank you. I believe good leadership is lead by example and his office staff follow his example. They are very rude, do not follow up when they are supposed to and treat you like a number on a chart rather than a patient and basic human being. Currently switching doctors.

Worst dr i have ever been to. Doesnt check you or touch you. Referrals are very very challenging to get because staff cant follow directions. I said my knee hurts right here. He said its just your knee cap. No my knee cap doesnt hurt. I think the main problem is he doesnt seem to care about your issues or want to solve the medical issue. Ive gone to him more than once. This review is based on several visits.

Sannoufi lacks compassion for his patients, literally spending less than five minutes discussing serious health issues before moving on to his next patient which appear to be double booked since it takes FOREVER to be seen. The office staff is undereducated and a complete waste of time. Literally took three weeks to get a referral for a bone spur! Weeks later and we’re still waiting on X-rays. When asking the reception (who would not release her name) if the X-rays were available and told yes on
