Amazing Doctor
Dr Alamir is beyond competent and is truly knowledgeable about his field. Psychiatric treatment is really about trying to find the best combination of therapy for each person. It takes dedication and commitment for a doctor to continuously work with patients. He exceeded my expectations and cares about my well being. I cannot give enough praises to this doctor. There are many talented doctors, but he is the only one that I trust. I feel incredibly healthy and will be forever grateful.

Awesome Office Manager – Dec 07, 2022

Left withdrawing from multiple meds I’ve been taking for years due to a missed appointment under traumatic circumstances with my sons dad/ex. Even after offer to pay missed visit, get screened immediately, i was told to find another provider. This was only missed appointment and was fired and left withdrawing from 2 controlled substances and 2 anti depressants. Staff didn’t care at all. So disappointed and truly disgusted in the doctor and his staff. Nowhere to turn. Single mom left to be sick and try to take care of my son, etc and feeling like I’m going to crawl out of my skin. They don’t care at all- so insensitive.

Dr. Alamir saved my life. He has my medication under control and maintained for the past 8 years after being severely over prescribed by a PCP. He truly is a godsend. He is always kind and professional, but tells me what I need to hear.

I've been seeing Dr. Alamir for over 12 years. He is my absolute favorite doctor in the world. He knows absolutely everything about me without judgement or just writing notes and sending me on my way. He asks about family and listens sympathetically to any issues I've been going through, no matter how repetitively. He has a calming voice and even shares common situations he's been through. I owe him my 90% stability (much better than formerly nonexistent), my continued support in sobriety and my life. He keeps to appointment length and time but never cuts me off. I love him to death!

Dr Alamir is the best in the business, I’m convinced! I was struggling with severe issues and had been under the care of a previous psych dr, struggling with numerous job losses and symptoms surfacing. Dr Alamir used his experience and knowledge to prescribe a tried and true combination of meds. I am functioning at an optimal level and it's as if I’ve never had a condition. This man knows what he is doing. He is one of the best drs that ever existed! Never been better!

Great man. Takes a lot of notes and asks every question under the sun to get all details in what is going on to deal with the issue. Seems to have alternative options if things don't work as expected. I feel more comfortable with him after a couple visits than I did in the last 15 years with my previous Psych.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Alamir?
Dr. Alamir is very good at what he does. He found an excellent combination of medications for me, and I'm convinced it's because of his creativity and willingness to try things other doctors have not. However, he tends to overstep his boundaries and want to play therapist and give life advice. His version of therapy is not helpful at best, rude and hurtful at worst. He should stick to what he knows. Do not visit if you have easily hurt feelings.

I was really nervous about seeing a psychiatrist because I had seen one a week before which was not a good experience . But Dr Alimir was amazing. He reviewed my health and got an overall picture of my entire life. He saw my weaknesses and encouraged me in them. He is a great listener and I truly believe he cared about me. Very thankful!
