If you want a doctor that pays attention to detail when handling your worker's comp case, then do not use this man. When writing my final assessment he based my work restrictions on a job position that I occupied when my worker's comp case was first opened 10 years earlier. I was a probation officer working in a residential facility. By the time my case closed, I was a field supervisor with drastically different work requirements. The work restrictions he provided were incompatible with my position and had no bearing on my actual physical limitations. When I pointed this out to his assistant, an Asian man of unknown heritage, and then to him, he refused to change his findings. I was forced to involve my attorney, the defense counsel as well as the worker's comp admin to resolve the matter. In the end, he still refused to change his findings but because his mistake was glaringly obvious in his narrative where he described my job duties, his work restrictions were ignored.

Dr.Bakshian is very patient and personal he actually hugs me, when he comes in the room. I've had a hard go of multiple lower back surgeries, w/fusions. Although they have not been successful, he never gave up. Which says alot because when your work comp. The work totally out weighs the glory besides the fact you wait forever to be paid. I will take human feelings of compassion and empathy over faked promises any day. He always said he would do all he could and and I testify that he always has. He didn't fix me, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Just ask my adjuster.?? D.Phillips 2020

Lemme tell you... i was assigned Dr. BAKSHIAN by me legal team after i was hurt on the job. Dr. Bakshian and his staff are incredibly professional but have a emphatic level I've never gotten from any other doctor. Although my case is a tough one full of denials and neglect from the other side DR. BAKSHIAN and his team have stood by me the last 5 years. Ive even recommened him to friends with spinal injuries and they were amazed at his level of compassionate care. If you have back issues see him

1st visit: 20 pages of paperwork, only to be asked the same questions again by the admin. 2nd visit: Dr kept me waiting for almost 3 hours (for a 9am appt) before being seen! Dr wanted me to have surgery for a bulging disc, and didn't offer any options like physical therapy etc. 3rd appointment: Don't know because they lost the appt I set 2 months ago. And his assistant stopped replying to my emails on an issue that I've been trying to follow-up on since December! TERRIBLY-RUN!!! AVOID!

Man destroyed my life, had a microdiscetomy and laminectomy 2 years ago, the result has been life changing, I live in horrible pain and the issues I went in have gotten 100 times worse, he treats patients like cattle and takes no responsibility for his work, he has been the worse decision I have made in my life. Stay away from him.

I have had 3 successful back and neck surgeries performed by Dr. Bakshian. He is an amazing surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. He has given our family renewed hope for a life without pain. I was totally incapacitated due to an industrial accident and his skills as a surgeon has given me a new lease on life. I trust him wholeheartedly and would have no one else perform surgery on me. We drive 6 hours roundtrip to see him and would never consider any other surgeon. He's our hero.

I went to Dr.Bakshian 2 months after a failed stem cell surgery and PRP transplant into my L-3 and L-4 discs from another doctor working at Playa medical plaza. After being in the worst pain in my life which disabled my movement for about two months Dr. Bakshian was the only doctor to dignose a spinal infection after seeing three specialists and checking myself into cedar Sinai for a week, which included a full team of doctors that misdiagnosed me with postoperative pain.
