Dr. Dawood. is an excellent and empathetic clinician who is interested in the patient and focused on the best and most relevant treatment. I'd highly recommend that anyone seeking a physician look into her. The continued rough spot that keeps this from being 5 stars is the support and office staff. I've had an ongoing issue with getting a physician statement for my insurance coverage for the better part of a year, and the road block is all Advent Health and the office staff -- as a result, my carrier isn't covering the Advent Health bill and Advent Health has referred me to collections. All of this should have been easily avoided and detracts from the patient experience.

Terrible experience. I do not recommend this physician. Requested a medication because of sensitivity to another and sends the wrong prescription. Called office, left messages for 2 days. No answer back, no response. 2 days later my son still doesn’t have his medication. Ridiculous! They are just quick to run the insurance, that’s it.

Her character is obviously flawed. She lied directly to my face and then used her toxic staff to then delay my medical care by spinning me out to be a junkie. I would highly recommend taking your loved one’s elsewhere.

Dr. Dawood is the only doctor I don’t mind going to. Like previous reviews, she takes the time to listen, she gives you options and lets you decide what you’re most comfortable with. I have my husband seeing her as well and we are so happy with her as our primary care physician.

I am a new elderly patient having visited Dr. Dawood twice. She seems truly interested in my health and doesn't rush me out of her office unlike my prior Dr. who only allowed 3 items to be discussed per visit. I only wish she was a Dr. for the Bay Care Hospital right next door to her office since if I ever required hospitalization, that is the closest hospital to my home so I would likely end up there. Maybe in the future.

Dr. Dawood took time to actually listen to my concerns. She was very professional, courteous, and really cared! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality family doctor!
