Terrible Experience
Switched to Dr Layme December 1, 2022. The biggest mistake of our lives. Husband has been experiencing numbness and immobility. Dr Layme sends for tests but never to a neurologist. Sends us to PT and he refuses to treat without diagnosis. We have to go back to her office and plead with staff for referral. To make a long story short take husband to ER and admitted into hospital for two months since Dr Layme office would not assist with MRIs. Her office wanted us to wait another two to three weeks to get MRIs done Stenosis of the spine and now PEG for feeding. Now trying to get approval from her for formula. Submitted request on February 27th after numerous calls and demanding to speak with her finally approved today March 14th. Called in another script three days ago and pharmacist stated still waiting to hear from her office. This doctor should have her license revoked. Numerous calls to office and never receive a call back. Changing primary doctor April 1, 2023.

Avoid at all costs
About a year or two ago my mother exhibited signs of dementia. Later I discovered it was delirium from a UTI that turned septic. It took me two weeks to get ahold of "Dr" Layme and when I talked to her she would always say she'd get back to me. She didn't call for 3 days till I called back and the office said she was on vacation. I had to take my mother, who was acting frankly "insane" against her will to the ER where she was treated with anti biotic and much hydration. She came back to normal. I was informed she could've died if I waited one more day. She needs her license revoked.

Extremely disappointed in Dr. Layme. I went in with my husband who has been a patient of hers for a while, hoping to get some answers to a couple of new issues he has been experiencing, not only was she not helpful, she was rude, almost annoyed at my questions. Very unprofessional, very disappointing.

Very disappointed. Her answer for any questions was "your old that's how it is" She even commented on my fingers, "look, they're wrinkled and going different directions" Dr layme was rude to me. The doctor was loud and in my face. The associate in the treatment room with her looked horrified. She's so pretty it was so unexpected. Bad experience.

My husband and I are both with Humana with a Zero copay, and when showed up for our first appointment with Dr layme, we were told on site that she was busy but she was sending her overflow to Dr Garrett. We agreed to see Dr Garrett, who is actually very nice. But 6 months later and after few visits of Zero copay, we received a statement for $65.00 for each visit my husband and I had with Dr Garrett. We were explained That in fact he is not a Dr but a PA and therefore not in network. This has been going on since almost a year. We are now in collection and the office completely ignore our requests to adjust the bills. Beware of the miscommunication and the total disregard of this office

Absolutely very disappointed with Dr. Layme. I'm new to the area seeking a doctor, and while she was not recommended, I thought I would give her a try. Bad mistake on my part. Unprofessional and dismissive.
