Rude, Refuses to Listen
Telehealth
Dr. (I don't even want to call him by that title) Maredia was extremely rude and refused to listen to my husband. My husband tried explaining to him multiple times what was wrong with him, and Mr. Maredia kept talking over him. He also refused to prescribe him anything and told him to wait 7-10 days to see if it gets worse. When my husband told him to look at his past medical history to see that the medication they always prescribe him always helps him, he absolutely refused. When we called him out on being rude and not listening, he hung up the phone without helping my husband whatsoever.

TERRIBLE CARE WHILE AT ER
He was ready to send patient home after one night in observation. We told him that the nurse just told us there had been no change in patient. He then said that he had not been in to see the patient. After 4 days and no improvement, he did send patient home. After reviewing discharge papers and looking at results on patient portal, we saw that the radiologist said there was a compression fracture at L2 vertebrae. This was never mentioned, much less treated! Three days later the patient ended up in ER in another hospital where he has been admitted and is receiving the care he needed.

I’m so confused after his teledoc appointment
I met with him regarding prescribing antibiotics for a viral infection. He confirmed that we can submit a prescription for antibiotics; however, the pharmacy never received anything. He later wrote the exact opposite of what he prescribed on the phone. So I went to the pharmacy looking like an idiot.

A Teladoc Dr. who does not listen to his patient. It’s rather disturbing to have to leave this review, as I’ve used Teladoc for the last five years with nothing but an amazing experience each time.. Until now! Dr. Salim Maredia appeared to have a big ego on his shoulders to carry. Throughout our very short conversation, my attempts to explain my symptoms fell on deaf ears. He prescribed medication that was - per my pharmacist “not used to treat my conditions”. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking into seeing Dr. Salim Maredia look into his practices, as he most certainly did not take the time to listen to me.

I had to teladoc consultation with doctor Salim Maredia. He was such a great doctor, I was disappointed with the other doctor when I had my next teladoc consultation with somebody else. He really does listen and gives as much time as necessary. I wish he could be my primary care physician. God Bless...

I had a teledoc visit with the doctor and he is one of a million out there that actually listens to you and eases your worries. He couldn’t do much since it was a abdomen issue but based on the symptoms he was able to give me a diagnosis and told me to follow up with my PCP. He is such an amazing doctor!
