Dr. Saint-Aaron Morris I, MD

Dr Morris performed a Laminectomy L3,4,5 in March to relieve severe lower back nerve pain. It’s been 7 weeks - I am hopeful the surgery was successful - having no nerve pain. Unfortunately, the surgery triggered severe vision loss in my right eye known as POVL-post operative vision loss. To-date Dr Morris has not followed up nor spoken with me?? He debriefed my wife after the surgery & informed all went well. What happened?? I immediate reported during recovery the vision loss & no one understood the issue. I was released by the PA knowing this issue of vision loss was still occurring. I asked what can be done & what am I to do? He did not have an answer & said he would follow up Monday. No call!! So I contacted the office only to get no advice. Saw eye doc that day - confirmed not an eye issue. Again, I contacted Dr’s office to follow up with their care plan only to get - go to ER for care. Numerous more tests to no avail! Still CANNOT SEE! and YET NO CALL by Dr Morris!

Dr. Morris examined me and asked me what problems I had. After listening to me he told me what was causing my problem (not able to lift my right leg and it wouldn't support me if I didn't keep my knee locked) and that back surgery would be required to remove some bone spurs and clean up the disc between L2 & L3. When I woke up after the surgery, I was able to lift my right leg for the first time in 5 months! Recovery was great, hardly any pain and now I only have to build back the muscles in my leg. Now a month after the surgery I would say my leg is back to 90%. If you need help with nerve damage Dr. Morris's knowledge and skill should be considered when looking for a solution to your problem!

The work of Dr. Morris was extremely successful. Since his work, I have been relieved of back pain completely. He was punctual for my follow up appointments. He was pleasant, thorough and professional.

I went to Dr. Morris for a second opinion and really liked him. He explained my condition well and assured me it had a 95% success rate. The office staff were great and available to answer questions. Dr. Morris has a fantastic bedside manner,he cares about his patients , he answers all questions and is full of information .if you don't understand something you will not leave your appointment until he explains it so you understand what is going on. Dr. Morris did surgery on me I had an LP shunt placed . Since my surgery I haven't had horrible headaches anymore and, my peripheral vision is back at 100% !! I recommend Dr. St. Aaron Morris to everyone .

Dr. Morris reaffirmed that getting a second opinion on my back surgery was the right choice. He suggested a less invasive procedure with a reduced recovery time. From the initial appointment to working with my insurance to the surgery and post-op follow ups Dr. Morris has been excellent. He was very clear on what the surgery entailed and what to expect during recovery. This was very important to my wife and I because she was 8 months pregnant at the time.Dr. Morris's bedside manner was comforting going into surgery and after surgery he was very supportive. He sat down with my wife and explained how everything went, which was very reassuring to her. Dr. Morris quickly diagnosed my issue. He showed me visually on the CT Scan what he saw, and patiently explained my surgery procedure. The surgery was very delicate, involving herniated discs at 2 different locations, each with significant compression on the spinal cord. Surgery was extremely successful in relieving compression on my spinal cord, and I am recovering well. He and his staff have all been great to work with. I would unquestionably recommend Dr. Morris, and I would return to Dr. Morris if I needed any surgery in the future.

Every person in that office from reception, nurses, scheduling, billing were professional and friendly, they enjoyed their work and they always make you feel welcome.
