Serious damage to cervical spine in accident
I had several visits over my 1+ years until discharge. I had 4 discs replaced, rod installed and fusion. C4-C7. He and his staff were so kind. Dr Moquin explained the procedure and risks in lay terms and made sure I understood the risks involved. I was 50+ at the time. Now over 10 years later my neck is doing good. Our agreement before surgery was that I would give 110% and he would do as well. Today I would again trust my life to his skills if needed.

Highly recommend you avoid this MD
Never lays hands on his patients. He told me it was my right side of the spine that was bad and the left side was perfect post op. Turns out, with a followup MRI that the left side is the problems still and the nerves are compressed. There are still no issues with nerves on the right contrary to what he told me.

Great Dr and Staff
Can't say enough on how great this Dr is, nurse Chris and the PA Rob. I had emergency surgery for cauda equina, laminetomy and fusion. So happy for a great office. Highly recommended.

Dr Moquin did a emergency decompression surgery due to CES at age 24. The guy literally saved my quality of life and i’m forever thankful for his knowledge and professionalism. 11 years post op with only occasional pain due to a herniated L5. A+ MD would still see if I didn’t relocate out of state.

I would not let this man do surgery on my dog!!!. He is a pompous..rude.. and way to full of himself.. He displayed discrimination because of a medication I am taking for pain... and said he wouldn't touch me when I am on the "stuff" .. as if I'm a drug addict. He never examined me ... after waiting for the appointment all he said was to go to PT and get off the stuff ... . I don't recommend that anyone go to see this man. I'm currently looking into if he has the right to refuse care because of a medication.... At the very least I am writing a very detailed letter explaining the whole situation to Mr Seth kronenberg. this has gone much farther than it should have. After my Dr advocated for me Mr moqin has attacked my doctor's integrity...For no other reason than to show that he is the top dog.... Stay away from this office and this man... Although I have to say that the front office staff were wonderful!!!!

Very quickly told me I need surgery. Brought me a paper to sign & told me he had an opening "on Thursday". Asked exactly what the surgery was called & he gave an evasive answer. Ended up going to a pain mgmt doc & with one cortisone shot I am 80% better. Moquin may be a talented surgeon, but I do not trust him.

I saw Dr. Moquin four months ago because I have had a bad sciatic nerve injury for four years. I am in contact pain. I also have osteoporosis and spinal stenosis. I have done much research on my problem and I was hoping he could relieve my pain with surgery. He told me he would not do so and really did not give me an explanation. He did recommend a pain clinic, to which I had been several years ago with no relief . Dr. Moquin is off-putting and has no rapport with his patients. I am seeking help elsewhere, and would advise anyone to stay away from this doctor.

He’s a horrible Dr. Not friendly or caring. And if the surgery doesn’t turn out right, he don’t want to know you. A man of few words. I’ve never been able to walk again without crutches or a walker. Very depressing.

In finding out that I would need surgery, I had a lot of questions that both Dr. Moquin and his Physician Assistant Jameson took the time to answer thoroughly. The entire experience from intake, to surgery, to follow-up was outstanding. I literally felt better the afternoon of surgery than I had felt the day prior. The following day I was walking without pain and now, two weeks later feel almost 100% back to normal. I would highly recommend Crouse Medical Practice and Dr. Moquin!

As a retired surgeon and now a Direct Primary Care physician myself I have to great fully thank and commend Dr Moquin on his surgical skill but more importantly for exhibiting all the attributes of a true doctor. Attention to detail, timeliness and true concern and empathy. I also commend his office.

Very blunt uncaring Dr. He makes you feel like you're wasting his time. Family felt the same way. Had revision surgeries in two parts. Still in more pain than ever but all Moquin worried about was me standing straight. Never again will I or a family member will ever have major surgery in Crouse Hospital in Syracuse NY, Don't trust them from experience. Night time was my worse time, Have nightmares over it. Think the nurses at night were not giving me my pain medicine. Very Bad area!
