I have been caring for my 88 year old mother, she was miserable abs scared and he was so gentle and patient with her and then step by step went over the care plan with both of us and answered all of my many questions. The staff both front and back are prompt and caring also. If I move to Arizona he would be my choice for care.

He refused to treat me because I had a colonoscopy done by another doctor. In my opinion, it is not a doctor's place to tell a patient where they have to seek care. Now it will take weeks to get in to see another doctor for my ailment. He was more worried about his reputation with a colleague than he was with the care of a patient.

Dr. Hauptman is definitely a Doctor Who cares. He is never in a rush, and always willing to explain every single part of what your issue may be. Using diagrams, actual photos from surgery. He is very knowledgeable. Very patient very understanding. He gives you the ways to change things including lifestyle. Highly highly highly recommended.

Dr Hauptman is very intelligent, very kind and knows his stuff. He is worth waiting for if you have a delay in your appointment because he takes his time with each individual patient. He makes sure all questions are answered before he goes to the next patient. Gastric issues can be uncomfortable or embarrassing but he understands. I have had scary times & he called me personally rather than having an assistant call. All of the staff is also exceptional. I can’t say enough about this practice

Dr. Hauptman has always helped me out when I was desperate. He listens to you. He also was the only doctor that was able to see what was wrong with my husband. He is now seeing my daughter and I am confident he will help her.

The whole visit was over in about an hour. My wife had an endoscopic procedure: the check-in procedure was not unlike ordering a burger at a fast food place. After the surgery, Dr. Hauptman curtly stated that everything was fine, and bolted out the door, possibly to see more patients, but more likely to get to the golf course quickly.

I have been seeing Dr. Hauptman for about a year due to recurring diverticulitis. Dr Hauptman has helped me through several flare ups and has helped me work on a diet to prevent further complications. I often contact the practice through their online portal and I always hear back within a few hours. During a flare up, Dr Hauptman often calls personally to check on how I’m doing. Dr Hauptman also performed my most recent colonoscopy and that was also a very good experience- great surgery center and kind doctors and nurses. I highly recommend Dr Hauptman and his practice.

Dr. Hauptman took time to seriously review all my information, charts and previous tests. He did not hurry me out the door in 5 minutes like other doctors before him.
