Dr. Roger Klein, MD

Dr. Klein did an excellent job of repairing my ankle from a pickleball accident. My ankle was fractured in three places. He inserted five pins on the inside of my ankle and a plate at the base of my femur to strengthen the area. Once my cast was removed the surgical incisions were practically invisible and I only required mild pain relief for three days. He was very thorough during my follow-up appointments and always offered the best advice for my recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

16 years ago, I shattered my tibia and it was emergency visit with Roger Klein he fixed my leg and was great. He also replaced my acl and removed all the hardware in my leg.Now I had to have a total knee replacement and once again, very pleased with his care, and experience, I walked out of the hospital feeling great couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I would highly recommend him ! when I got home, he called multiple times to make sure I was ok . I highly recommend this doctor .

He took the time to explain everything before every procedure I’ve had with him. He makes sure I feel informed and prepared for the surgery. His follow up was just as thorough and comprehensive, ensuring that his operations are successful.

I've had 7 ortho surgeries with other doctors from a large practice prior to the partial hip replacement with Dr. Klein. I came through the ER and I'm so thankful Dr. Klein was on call. He is a very skilled, very kind and compassionate professional. His surgical team made me feel very comfortable and confident. His office staff is awesome! I've discovered the level of customer service in this solo practice is second to none. The state of health care has changed greatly since Covid but I'm delighted to say Dr. Klein's office staff is old school. Calls are returned promptly, questions answered promptly. Overall, this practice rocks!

Dr. Klein's expertise is manifested in his calm, reassuring and professional manner. Clearly, a lifetime of experience underlies his confidence in his ability to effect state of the art surgical management of orthopedic issues. He is technically excellent. Whether for elective or emergent procedures, Dr. Klein's straightforward communication engages his patients in the healing process. He is refreshingly appreciative of the medical underpinnings of bone health. I hope I won't be in need of an orthopedist again any time soon, but would seek his care without a second thought if the need arose.

I had surgery for Dupuytren’s contracture 3 months ago. Dr. Klein explained the procedure clearly and performed it when I decided to have it done. The surgery went very well with minimal pain, no complications. The doctor was kind, competent, and thorough.

The care I received at Dr. Klein’s was integral to the fantastic healing process I’ve had thus far. The nurses were ALL very insightful, comforting, and eager to help and answer any question I had. Dr. Roger Klein and his staff are incredible. Dr. Klein is knowledgeable, informative, compassionate, and an excellent surgeon. I had a fall in April and broke numerous bones in my wrist requiring emergency surgery to properly set and stabilize the bones by using plates and screws/pins. Dr Klein’s confidence... gave me confidence. I immediately felt at ease. I am now 8 weeks post-surgery, back at work, and typing this review!! The staff is amazing… always so helpful and kind. I am so very blessed that I had Dr. Klein as my doctor and would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Klein for over a year after I broke my arm in a riding accident. He is the professional you want for any orthopaedic malady. He is laser-focused on the problem at hand and he explains the best route to take for optimal success. He does not jump to surgery unless absolutely necessary. He gave me great suggestions on stretching and strengthening my arm during recovery and I now have complete range of motion. He is highly capable, qualified and efficient and I recommend him full-heartedly. His office staff are very nice and I am always happy to see them all when I come. I want everyone to know about the wonderful physician that operated on my right hand when I was in Santa Rosa with a severe spider bite and abscesses that needed to be removed from my right hand very frightening I could have lost my hand. From the moment I checked in to the Emergency Room and the week stay in OR at Sutter hospital doctor Klein was absolutely outstanding he follows through he checks up on all the nurses my surgery a total success. When it comes to an amazing physician and surgeon he is the definition quite simply outstanding From start to finish and even now still asking me to send him pictures and I am back at my home and San Diego over a month later When you meet doctor Klein and you look him in the eye and talk to him you know you have a good physician. Quite honestly Sutter hospital is very lucky to have him and if you're considering surgery with doctor Klein personally I recommend it

I cant believe how lucky I was to have Dr. Klein be on call when I had a very serious cycling accident. My wrist didn't just break but it fractured in many , many pieces. it was like putting humpty dumpty together again. I would always put my trust with Dr Klein. He is an amazing Doctor. From the initial appointment with explaining the procedure to the surgery and complete follow up. Yes I would highly recommend Dr. Klein!!!!

I was very fortunate that Dr Klein was on call the night I came into Memorial Emergency with a fractured femur requiring surgery. I felt safe and knew I was in good hands with Dr. Klein, he was very supportive and encouraging. It has been 3 weeks since my hip surgery and I’m walking without an aide and have very little pain. I’m grateful for Dr. Klein!

He's a get-down-to-business doctor, but only uses surgery as a last resort. He's probably the best knee and shoulder surgeon in Sonoma County. I even actually saw him smile once! Dr. Klein's office has the best staff I have ever encountered.

After slipping in a muddy dirt path and shattering my leg bone (fibula) near the ankle, the image of the bone looked like disaster. Dr. Klein planted a sturdy metal plate with 6 screws to correct the damage. After a couple of months with crutches, my leg was healed and me and my new hardware were working just fine. I'm forever grateful.

He was excellent Dr very good an caring about your needs highly recomended. im 90 years old an im back to normal i had fell and broke my femur put a steel rod in and back to getting around the hardest part was rehab but you definite need that .So think he is very good at his job so would recomend him has a very good orthopaedic hope you never need one .bt i was lucky to have him an im back to doing not everything i use to do because im 90 but back to alot which im thankful for KLEIN

Dr. Klein is thorough and skilled. He took extensive time reviewing my case and did everything he could to ensure a successful outcome from my shoulder surgery. I would highly recommend him. And his office team is top notch. Very professional and friendly people.
