Dr. Vraney does not let u speak just automatically assumes he knows what is wrong. he will not let u explain your issues. he gave me a cortizine shot . I guess that shot cures all. just very rude. would not recommend him at all. thanks

Patronizing and smug
My dad had C5-6 surgery by Dr. Vraney in 2016 and had a great experience. I went to see him about my scoliosis that is progressively getting worse to the point that my mobility is being daily affected. I knew I was going to have an issue when he was accompanied into the appointment with his scribe. He was rude, condescending, barely looked at me, scoffed and laughed whenever I stated my concerns and repeatedly stated “you are not a surgery candidate”. It was clear that unless you are needing surgery that you are wasting his time. I was so upset when I left that I went to my car and cried. I felt like I was about as important to him as a piece of gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe.

I have found Dr. Vraney to be very cooperative. He knows how much I don't want to get back surgery and he has been very helpful in trying other methods of treatment. Surgery may be in my future but if it comes to that, I will feel that we have exhausted all our options. I've had a great experience with Dr. Vraney.

Dr. Vraney is awesome! He’s careful and helpful! He listens to everything you have to say and makes sure you know what’s going on. He did my surgery last week and the pain in my leg is gone. I’m so thankful for Dr. Vraney! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Vraney did back surgery on my husband and it has been wonderful. He no longer has any pain and the Xrays in the follow appointments show great bone redevelopment. We highly recommend him!!

Went to Dr. Vraney with severe neck and arm pain due to deteriorated discs at C5 and C6. He fully explained the fusion process, the surgery, recovery time and healing process. I came out of surgery with zero pain and continued to heal. I wore a neck collar for 1 month. X-Ray’s looked good at each post op visit and after 4 months I hiked 100 mountain miles. Dr. Vraney and staff are awesome! I highly recommend Orthopaedic Associates.

He is the best at what he does, surgery. I have to say I would rather Dr Vraney do it right his way, than to worry about my feelings getting hurt. And I’m a softy. When it’s time for surgery, he is very comforting and reassuring. He runs a tight ship for sure. But I went under knowing he was there for me and nothing bad was going to happen on his watch. My recovery was great. It’s been 2 yrs and I still feel great. I have had 4 orthopedic surgeries. The best surgeons are the ones that are thinking, not socializing.

Vraney didn't take the time to address any of my concerns about the questions I had. Vraney was very rude an impatient when my wife asked a simple question he acted like it was a complete waste of his time. I will never recommend Dr. Vraney for any reason to anyone!!!! Huge waste of time for me.

My family dr referred me to dr vraney a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t hear from this dr office. so I called only to be told they don’t handle hemangioma tumor. And it’s growing in my L4 vertebrae but he is a spine specialist. It would have been nice to have a courtesy call.

I had spinal surgery performed by Dr Vraney. It has been 6 months and several follow up visits. He has always been very professional and addressed my concerns. My surgery was successful and has gotten rid of my back pain and leg numbness. I had a spinal fusion and relief of canal narrowing. I would recommend him for surgery of this type.

I was forced to see this provider and beyond upset on the way he handled things. I was not allowed to have anyone in the room with me and he didn’t even evaluate me at the appointment when I was there for a second opinion. I was told to be there at 12:30 and my appointment was at 1. I didn’t get into a room until almost 2pm. The MA was rude as well

I fell and hurt my lower back. When therapy did not help Dr. VRaney suggested I get a disc replacement. Dr.Vraney went through the whole process of what I would be going through. Surgery went great! Within 5 months I am back to work no restrictions and I am feeling great. I definitely recommend Dr. VRaney for any back issues that you might have.

I saw Dr. Vraney at the Ortho Immediate Care. They were very busy but I didn’t feel rushed through the exam. He told me what was wrong and took the time to explain what I should expect & the next steps in my care. I was very pleased with both him and the staff.

He is a GREAT doctor! Absolutely highly satisfied that I choose him for my second back surgery. He is highly knowledgeable in his line of medicine. His nursing staff and Xray tech are wonderful also. The receptionists, billing and insurance people are not very nice or helpful people. But I would still give Dr. Vraney a 5 star rating!
