Dr. Robert Piasecki, DO

Cancelled an hour AFTER my appointment time so he could 'review my records'. IS HE SERIOUS???????????

Dr. Piasecki is very condescending and arrogant. He did not take the time to listen to why I was there at all. He is VERY unprofessional. Do not go to him.

This doctor should not be a practicing doctor!!!!!! He does not know how to communicate and treat patients! Do not go to him!!!!!!

I was also a patient of Dr Piasecki’s for approximately 6 + years. I am also sorry he has left his practice as he was easy to talk to, understood my job, Home etc. I am also not keen on going to the new Drs there as they do not have the manner Dr Piasecki has or experience. My responses are when Dr Piasecki was practicing there. Since he’s left I’m not so impressed with Drs. Staff is very nice and efficient!

Dr Piasecki saved me!! His knowledge, Led me to the best oncology drs-Dr Patel and Dr Lia. His pulmonary expertise was a godsend-he just knew what was wrong beyond my pneumonia-small cell lung cancer. After confirmation His treatment plan was spot on and his explanations were clear concise and calming I thank God for Dr Piasecki !! I’m deeply saddened he is leaving Lakeland. Losing a great doctor ??????

Dr. Piasecki is a excellent Dr. He is very through and takes time to explain so that I understand what I need to do. He is an expert in his field and I don't feel these new Dr. will be to my liking. There not even a specialist, just M.D's. Bring him back or I will follow him where ever he goes!!!!!

I had a great experience with Piasecki.

I could tell from my first appointment that he had great passion and knowledge in his field, for his patients and practice. Very well informed on the CPAT equipment and my needs as his patient. I would highly recommend Dr . Piasecki to anyone that needs assistance in his field.

I have been a patient of Dr. Piasecki's for about ten years. During that time I have found him to be very professional in all aspects of his work. He has improved my respiratory function significantly. With his help I have been able to go without breathing treatments for longer periods. This has improved my day to day life.

I've been with this man for 15 yrs and am very upset he is leaving. Personally I like the self confidence he presents which I think some see as arrogance.. In all the yrs I've been with him I've never doubted his decisions in my care,I always knew I was in good hands I can't thank him enough

Dr. Piasecki began treating my 88 yr old mom over a year ago for lung issues discovered while in Lakeland having colon cancer surgery, he was very through, explained issues with her lungs and performed all needed necessary tests and treatments. He has also provided great follow-up care for her. My mom & I are very pleased with his treatment, and explanations. We were very lucky when he was assigned her case at a very difficult time in her life. Reccommend him, great Doctor, a rare find.

I have been a patient of Dr. Piasecki's for approximately 16 years, during which time I have had a number of serious bouts with lung issues. And, by number, I means upwards of ten or fifteen, as I have lost count. In every single case, Dr. Piasecki has shown concern and has been fully involved with seeking the right medications and procedures. I can say with full confidence that he has been the consummate professional in regard to my very serious concerns about my health. A+ in my book!

Privileged to have been under Dr. Piasecki's care for over 10 yrs. Have been Mayo patient & supporter for 30 yrs, & feel I've received equal level of care & attention from Dr. Piasecki.

I have been a Mayo Clinic patient for over 40 years. I've had the ability to compare many physicians from various departments there. Over the years, I've worked with local physicians to coordinate care with Mayo. I have found Dr. Piasecki to be in the league with the best of my Mayo doctors. His staff always works with me to get me in, in a timely way, and no matter how busy Dr Piasecki might be, he always take whatever time is necessary to explain how we need to treat.

I have really appreciated Dr. Piasecki's care for my mother and Grandmother. He was so kind and took the time needed to explain procedures and diagnosis. I read some of the other reviews and I cannot imagine anyone thinking he was arrogant, he was kind and humble and went out of his way to care for our family. I wish all the doctors in our area were as thorough and caring as he is. I also have recommended several of my friends to him and they have been very happy with his care. He's a keeper!

Dr. Piasecki is an outstanding physician. He discovered a severe sleep apnea problem that was causing a serious heart condition. If it wasn't for him I don't know what shape I would be in now. His care was thorough and he was so kind and helpful. Whenever I need to get in, like when I get bronchitis, he is quick to return my calls and is the only doctor in the area who has helped me get my chronic bronchitis under control. I highly recommend him!! He is top notch!

I saw Dr. Piasecki 12/17 for my annual asthma review. I tolerated his arrogance in the past simply because he is so very knowledgeable. During this visit however, he bad-mouthed his nurse shortly after she left the room. His communication with me was extremely condescending. He maintained a haughty attitude throughout the visit, which was filled with derogatory remarks. This is not the place to go if you are searching for a doctor whose goal is to improve the health of your body, mind or spirit.

I met Dr Piasecki this morning to discuss my mothers breathing issues while she was in the hospital. He was condescending, pompous, and generally not friendly. He will not be the doctor that treats my mother's condition!
