Dr. Robert Pennell, MD

This guys must need a job, so he found he could shill for the insurance companies. He takes everything out of context to fit a false narrative. He isn’t your friend, and he isn’t Independent. A paid insurance hack

This doctor is nothing but a mouthpiece for the insurance companies. He writes what they tell him to write. He doesn’t actively do surgery any more. All these other positive and glowing reviews are false. Fortunately for me, the Worker’s Comp judges knew his reputation and threw out his opinion in its entirety. I don’t know how he can look in the mirror and be proud of himself. He caused a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering to me by helping the insurer deny the operation that I needed to get better. I prevailed but it took time.

I went to him for an independent medical exam regarding an injury i got in Iraq, He is the most unethical, lying, person i have ever met and works directly for insurance company, not for the patient. How he sleeps at night is beyond me. D. Fagan

Dr. Pennell has treated my extended family for many years. He has great bedside manner and 50+ years of extensive orthopedic expertise. He was a combat surgeon in Vietnam and chief of orthopedic surgery at Lynn Hospital for years. He recommends surgery only when conservative measures fail. Dr. Pennell knows who is good with the tools & refers patients to the most skillful specialized surgeons for each specific orthopedic issue when needed.

I have never been to a smarter, more caring and knowledgeable doctor in my life!!! He spent two hours with me explaining everything about my problem and the way he would treat it. He was right on in diagnosing me, where other doctors I had been to, had no idea what was wrong with me. I highly recommend this doctor! He came highly recommended to me!

Dr Pennell has treated me and many of my family members. He is so knowledgeable in many areas of medicine. He is from the "old school" of medicine taking a long time with his patients, getting a very detailed history of your problem or injury and using his head and diagnostic tests, if needed. to come up with a diagnosis and treatment for it. He is very conservative in his treatment and only recommends surgery as a last resort if needed. He also has a wonderful bedside manner.
