Dr. Robert Parrott, DO

Doctor Parrott was able to work me into his busy schedule first thing on Monday morning. He has been my doctor for approximately four years and every time I have a visit, I’m blown away by the professionalism, his bedside manner and his extensive knowledge. I have recommended him to many of my friends and coworkers… All of which have come back to me and thanked me. I feel fortunate that I found Dr. Parrott!He’s absolutely the best doctor I’ve ever had!!!

Dr. Parrotts’ staff told me I could not see Dr parrot because I brought my dog inside! I was told on a recorded conversation that I had to leave my dog outside in over 100 degree heat or leave. Not one consideration for my health in any way shape or form! I was taking my dog to see a veterinarian that cared more about my dog peanuts’ health than the horrible staff at Dr parrot’s office did on August 28, 2024. If I was charged one penny by Dr parrots office, that obvious fraudulent behavior will be reported and Humana will take care of that.

I am in good condition, not overweight, i exercise regularly and eat healthy. However I started to have a "flutter" in my chest that sermed unusual , i went to Dr. Parrott, my PCP. He listened to my discription of symptoms and performed a couple of tests. While they were within "normal" ranges, He wanted to make sure about the indications. He recommended a specialist Dr. Paixao. (a cardiologist) who tested me further. Again the tests showed i was just within "normal" ranges, but he too performed a subsequent test to check out the findings. The subsequent testing showed an 80% blockage of a main artery. I was then scheduled for a stint which opened the passage. Had Dr. Parrott (and then Dr.Paxiao) not followed his gut instinct that just because the test showed within normal ranges I could have possibly had a heart attack or stroke. Now my risk factor is lower, and I am adjusting my life style to lessen my future risk.

Dr Parrot listens to his patients. Does not rush. Very thorough. If you need to see a specialist he makes sure that they are contacted and gets the appointment set up. Very concerned about patients

After a relatives discharge from hospital Dr Parrott solved all the problems in getting the relative the home health care referrals they needed. A single phone call to his office and things were being scheduled within an hour! Great job by a doctor who really cares for his patient!!

Dr. Parrott saved my life. There is nothing more to say.

In my 60 years I have had many doctors and Dr. Parrott is the best I have ever had. He truly listens and cares and has helped me to turn my life around.

Very patient oriented, refers you to specialists if deemed necessary. very open to alternative medicine. Just a real down-home doctor.

What a great family doctor to have. Such an easy going personality and will take the time to sit and talk and answer questions. So glad he is my personal physician.

I have a severe difference of opinion with Dr. Parrott's medical philosophy and judging from statements he has made to me I don't believe his primary concern is the welfare of his patient.
