Dr. Robert Fumento, MD

Dr. Fumento is a terrible doctor. He doesn't listen at all, he talks over you, he answers the questions he asks for you instead of letting you answer or even tell him whats going on. He's more focused on being quick rather than efficient or even remotely helpful. He doesn't have the patients best interest in mind, he just wants you gone. He'll send you home sick without even checking you out thoroughly. This 'doctor' is very disrespectful and condescending in the way he talks to you, like he knows your body more than you do. I wouldn't even recommend him to a dog. He would rather send you home to make a quick visit than actually do his job as a doctor. He sucks, point blank period. His people skills are repugnant, his mannerism is horrendous and is very demeaning. An arrogant man with a God complex. Please, if anyone of power sees this, please send him to another facility or at the very least accept the request of people who don't want to see him and would rather wait for another dr.

I got treated by dr Fumento in the ER

Terrible doctor. Only good thing was he was efficient; he was able to do my prostate and testicular exam simultaneously.

Has a rotten bedside manner, the few times I've been treated by him in the ER he acted like he didn't want me there or like I should be thankful he graced me with his presence. The next time I have to go to the ER I'm either going to request another DR or another hospital because at this point I wouldn't trust him to put on a band-aid.

I found Dr Fumento's to be mediocre at best. I felt that his bedside manner and listening skills could be improved. The icing on the cake was a month later when I received a $1,100 bill from him in addition to my $2,200 hospital bill for about 20 minutes of his time. Perhaps a career as a stock trader would have been better suited for Dr Fumento.
