NO, please subtract 4 point from my one star rate
Dr Collum has been the worst health care provider I have ever seen. Does not return calls and has little regard for patients. He is only fostering his medicare income. One word, horrible and a sorry case for a medical professional!

Dr Collum has been my personal physician for more than 20 years, and I like him. However I have recently stopped going to him becuase his practice is not customer friendly. I have been on the same blood pressure meds for 15 years and they work, but now I can't renew the prescription without being forced to come in for another quick visit, which are never quick due to a full waiting room. No attempt at accomodation, and I just decided I'd had enough after arguing with the person on the phone. I asked for a call from Dr Collum but never heard, guess they don't kind losing clients. I will gamble wihout meds while I look for a new doctor. The medicial world has certainly changed.

My entire family went to Dr Collum for many years. My elderly father ended up in the hospital with Dr Collum listed as his coordinating doctor. When the Dr made his rounds at St Claires hospital, he said to my father the only reason they listed him as the coordinating doctor was because "they want someone to call in the middle of the night". He was absolutely terrible about following up & coordinating the proper care. I called Dr Collum to tell him he should be ashamed of himself & was fired!

I went for my annual physical to Dr. Collum for around ten years. He never did order a PSA in those years even though I am in the at risk age group. I visited another doctor in the same practice last fall. This doctor ordered up a PSA. It was high enough that I was advised to see a urologist. I was diagnosed with Gleason score 7 prostate cancer. I had surgery two weeks ago. My personal opinion is that this doctor is going through the motions and is not doing his job.

Don't even want to give him one star. .horrible uncaring non responsive lack of compassion man.. wouldn't recommend him for my dog! Horrible doctor. ..
