Dr. Rishu Marwaha, MD

took an appointment for annual physical, which is 100% covered by the insurance. But, they billed as office visit. When I called about it they said I need to have two appointments for annual physical; one for office visit and one for physical. I specifically asked at the time of scheduling the appointment but they didn’t mention about the requirement for two appointments. If I knew about this upfront, I would not have taken this appointment. May be that’s the reason they didn’t mention it when I called for scheduling the appointment. I never go to this doctor again.

She's understanding of MY need to understand and takes the time to explain and listen. She's at ease and relaxed...and knowledgeable and kind. When I had some concerns about a particular medication, she was open to my point of view and we worked out, together, an alternative approach. In truth, she's my best primary care physician ever.

Dr. Marwaha became my primary physician just a few years ago, after my doctor retired. I was anxious about finding a new doctor who had good communication skills, and was knowledgeable and understanding. I’m so glad that I’m now one of her patients, she’s very responsive, explains physical conditions in detail and is respectful of my concerns. The office staff is super as well.

Dr Marwaha is the best! She takes time to listen to you and addresses your concerns. I've been extremely satisfied with her care and plan on keeping her permanently! I even like her staff!??

Dr. Marwaha's office is poorly run and disorganized, to the point that I called to get a copy of test results and was told I never had the test they ordered for me that I definitely had! They made me feel crazy and refused to believe me. I had to spend several hours making phonecalls, including to the place I went for the test to find the results and verify to Dr. Marwaha's office that I actually had the test and provided them with the date. They finally found the information but not before telling me i was wrong and ordering a new referral for the test I already had. Also you will never be able to talk to the doctor directly on the phone. Ever. She is not available for questions via an email system. She only speaks via her office staff. The only time you will have a chance to talk to her is when you're there for an appointment and she will give you about 3 minutes tops.

Positive in every aspect. Dr. Marwaha took charge of my cancer diagnosis and made sure that all tests and treatment were completed in a timely fashion. She is now totally navigating my journey with a heart-related problem. I trust her implicitly -- she is a true blessing in my life!
