Dr. Give zero f&cks
Went to Urgent Care because I had been coughing, pretty aggressively. Told the nurse that I might have Bronchitis. Dr. Winger spent less than 2 minutes in the room and said that I have Sinenotus, and prescribed me an antibiotic. I’ve been taking the medicine for 6 days now, and I’m just getting worse. Going to my primary next. If I could give him less than 1 star, I would.

Dr. Winger spent less than 1 minute in the room. Advised I had a sore throat with white spots. He stood 2 to 3 feet back from me with a flashlight to look at my throat. Never did a throat culture He prescribed me Cefdinir, which is medication for people who are allergic to penicillin. I'm not allergic to penicillin. Called back 5 days later, stated I worse. Medication is making me very sick at stomach. Nurse told me he said just go to my family doctor because the prescription he gave me was good. Had he done a throat culture, I wouldn't be as sick as I am today. Cefdinir treats strep A, I didn't have strep A. What a waste of $100 co-pay. Thank god my family doctor was able to finally get me in.

I went in to the Urgent Care because my physicians office was booked. I gave my symptoms to the nurse who quickly took my vitals then the doctor was in to see me and literally spent less than one minute with me and did no testing and gave no true diagnosis, just wrote a script that was a "cover all" antibiotic to try to treat my symptoms. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed, especially knowing that I will be paying quite a bit for nothing.

Not impressed with his clinal judgment or demeanor. Determined I had the flu without administering a rapid flu test. 4 days later, after continued high fevers and worsening of respiratory symptoms, returned to the urgent care. Listened to my lungs which sounded nice and clear. After explaining how sick I had become and that I felt this is something other than just the flu, chest X-ray was ordered. Radiologist thinks pneumonia. Do yourself a favor and find a good primary MD instead.
