Dr Leschek and staff are rude
That he didn't believe I had a stroke and then he finally found it on the MRI after I insisted he look again for it. It took him 6 months to find it. He was unable to resolve my daily severe dizziness and slurred speech. He kept throwing migraine medications at me which were useless.

Migraines
I’ve been seeing Dr Lescheck now for several years and I’m very pleased. He has found the perfect medication for me for a daily maintenance med that has made my migraines almost nonexistent. When my insurance decided they wanted to stop paying for it. He followed their protocol but then when I began having recurring headaches so bad again he and his staff fought my insurance and overturned their decision. Im not sure what I would do without him in my corner helping me stop these terrible headaches. He always listens to me. He’s on time for his appointments. His staff has always been very pleasant.

Awful experience, office staff are rude and do not care about the patients at all. Dr. Leschek is robotic and doesn't say much. Would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Highly skilled neurologist!
Dr Leschek is the only neurologist I've seen who has been able to successfully treat both my migraines and my cervical dystonia.

Great for migraines!
I went to see Dr. Leschek for my migraines. He asked me about my headache history and listened attentively to what I had to say, and asked clarifying questions. He proceeded to confirm the diagnosis of migraine (made by my primary care provider) and walked me through the standard treatment plan he would use on an average patient. He then proceeded to note where certain treatments were contraindicated for my other health conditions/medications I was on, and where insurance may become an issue. He ensured I understood what his prospective treatment plan was, and was easy to keep in contact with and maintain follow up appointments, where he readily adjusted my prescriptions as needed. He is one of the better doctors I have seen with an easy bedside manner and what seemed to me to be a high level of competency in treating migraines.

I saw dr. Leschek and he on my one an only appointment upset me so much that my husband and I walked out crying together. His bedside manner for this office visit was incredibly awful. I just moved from nyc to md in July and suffer from neurological issues such as weakness and tingling along with facial drooping but I also was diagnosed with non epileptic seizures. Dr. Leschek received my whole medical chart from my previous doctor and when I went to see him in person about my sudden flair up in my seizures that he looked at ny husband and I and flat out said “what do you want me to do?” He said he couldn’t help me and that all I needed was a shrink. Even after explaining and seeing the doctors notes that all my previous therapy did nothing since I had no history of trauma. He also did not listen to my other symptoms that come and go that happened before my diagnosis. My husband and I left that appointment upset and I broken.

I saw Dr.,Lescheck for migraines. He took the time to talk to me, obtain a thorough history about my migraines (20 yr hx), and discussed treatment options. The medicine he prescribed was so effective. I'm sorry I did not see him sooner. Michelle, a staff member in his office, is also very efficient, professional, and easy to talk to. She helped me get an appointment to see Dr. Lescheck and have the pharmacy call me back, the same day, of needing my prescription. Thank you Michelle!!
