KUDOS TO DR. RICHARD KIM
Dr. Kim was the most wonderful doctor. He treated me for my Rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus. He listened to my complaints and did everything he could to help me. I was hospitalized in 1997 and 2007 when my Lupus flared and Dr. Kim checked in on me every day. After that I was prescribed the medication Hydrocodone for my pain and used it properly for the duration of time he allowed me to have this medication. I wish I had some of it today because my arthritis has gotten worse and I can barely tolerate the pain. I just called the office in Greensburg where he used to practice to obtain my medical records and learned Dr. Kim is no longer practicing, I hope he sees this review because I miss him and I'm so sorry he's no longer practicing. God Bless You, Dr. Richard Kim. You were my savior back in the day.

Horrible doctor and egotistic
For three years, he has been my rheumatologist. I have been diagnosed and have had severe symptoms from lupus from 2005-2020. He becomes my rheumatologist, and purely coincidentally I get better at the same time (until now). He assures me that the other doctors were wrong and what I experienced must be in my mind. This is so very untrue. I do admit I went into remission; however, if you have lupus, it is a chronic condition and you NEVER get over it according to the CDC, AMA, and other organizations. He wants to be the one making the call and yet he says I don't have lupus but still treats my lupus with Imuran. Why put me on a immunosuppressant if I don't have anything to treat? Very, very unhappy with him. I will be looking for another rheumatologist and I have NEVER had to quit a doctor and look for a replacement. I am 49 yrs old.

Dr. Richard Kim is simply the BEST!!!
Dr. Richard Kim of Piedmont Arthritis is one of the most intelligent and compassionate rheumatologists. After 20 years of pain, I am now having almost pain free days, which I never thought I would have. He is an exceptional listener and his bedside manner is superbub. His nursing staff and infusion nurses are simply the best! They truly care about you at this practice and I am so blessed to have found him. I would highly suggest this physician to anyone seeking help from rheumatological diseases.

There are concerns about my examination.
My concerns about my exam were not addressed. My arms and hands were examined but not my knees, back, or ankles. I decided to change Doctors.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Richard Kim who is currently at Piedmont Arthritis at Saint Francis here in Greenville South Carolina. I have suffered with extreme and consistent pain for the past four years. Despite going to countless doctors in the area, including an incompetent family doctor, the source of the pain remained undiagnosed until today. Although I am not happy to have fibromyalgia, I feel extraordinarily blessed to have found Dr. Kim who has finally put a name to my distress. I’m confident that I am on the road to recovery. His office staff could not have been nicer and he was a consummate professional. He answered all of my countless questions. This is so different from my previous doctor, Greg Johnson at Heritage Pediatrics and Internal Medicine who was dismissive and condescending while I suffered. Thank you, Dr. Kim!!

Dr Kim is wonderful. He listened to me and he was very opened minded.. I explained to him the medications that I felt were very effective for me and that I didn’t want to be experimented on by trying all these newer meds. He agreed and said well if it is not broken why try to chsnge.!He eas non-judgemental and i feel extremely blessed and happy that I finally tell a doctor how i really feel and what has been effective.. Thank you Dr. Kim Monica
