Dr Harvard is the worst human I've ever met
Without being able to talk about why I was there or the questions I had (my PCP had referred me), he decided that my weight was my problem and went off about another fat patient, and how much she'd 'eaten her way through,' before the next time they saw each other. He would start all of her quoted lines with 'Gee, golly...' as if he thought his patient was idiotic, and even left notes about the other patient in my chart notes. I haven't gone to doctor referrals since because I am afraid other doctors will be as cruel and heartless. Further, his resident did nothing but stand by and watch as he continued his offensive tirade. I wake up thinking about what a nasty person he is and how I hope others never have to go through what I did. I told him 'I would never let him touch me,' upon leaving, and I mean it.

Unprofessional and Rude
I left this appointment feeling shocked and angry. Dr Havard was quite rude, and seems to say whatever comes into his head, regardless of how inappropriate it may be. I understand talking about the experiences of other patients to give context for what to expect, but the way he talked about some of his former patients was awful. For example, I saw him to inquire about a breast reduction, and during our appointment he told me a story about a woman who he performed some sort of weight removal surgery on. He said that her stomach was “so big” that they had to rig something up above the operating table to hold her stomach up, and that she gained the weight back years later. He suspected that her weight gain was caused by sweets, and that “if she had to put something in her mouth, it could have at least been baby carrots or something.” This was just one of the several inappropriate things he said during our consultation. Do not see this man if you are a plus-sized person.

Dr Havard was not compassionate, up to date with Trauma Informed Care Health Practices and discriminatory towards the LBGTQIA+ community. I ended the appointment before the exam portion and have filed official complaints with my insurance, Samaritan Services, and the Medical Board.

Dr. Havard and his team are amazing! I can't express how grateful my husband and I are for the compassionate care I received. I had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. He is so caring and listens, even when I called in to ask questions after hours. I always felt well taken care of. He did amazing work, I feel beautiful again and normal. His Physicians Assistant and CMA also deserve a five star recommendation.

Dr. Havard was wonderful. He was very informative and patient. I was referred for trigger finger and carpal tunnel. He brought out diagrams and X-rays to show me exactly what was occurring and how he’d fix it. I felt safe, well cared for and informed on all aspects of the procedures. His follow up was exemplary as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Havard and his whole staff. I would recommend them with no hesitation and am very thankful for their care and kindness.
