Dr Evans did my right eye catarac surgery in July of 2021, I have been very satisfied with the results. Now I'm reaching out to have Dr Evans do my left eye.

I'm sharing this out of a sincere desire to prevent the same happening to others. Dr Evans examined my dilated eyes and I filled the prescription. I asked for a recheck because was having trouble, he did and I had my glasses remade. Within 6 months I was still having trouble so decided to get contacts. Went to a different doctor and found out I have a level 4 (highest) cataract in one eye and a level 2 in the other. Had I not gone to get contacts I wouldn't have known this for a few years. The glasses will be useless after caract surgery. I've spent a lot of money on prescription sunglasses as well. Dr Evans surely should have caught these.

I changed ophthalmologists and used Dr. Evans because he practices in Boerne. He was an excellent physician and his staff are great. Maybe the dissatisfied responders from San Antonio should go to the Boerne office and see Dr. Evans!

Tired of waiting 2 hours to see someone who then tells me I need another “follow-up”appointment. Don’t schedule so many patients. Unprofessional!

Saw Dr Evans for stye & was prescribed meds that did not work. So after 2 follow up appts w/no improvement & $70/appt charge/each visit (have no ins coverage), ended up using colloidal silver eye drops & after 4 days stye was GONE! BTW the colloidal silver was $20/bottle.......

This clinic is a ripoff. After two FAILED cataract surgeries a different dr. was going to take my case over. I thought he was doing "follow up" appts. which I would not be charged for. Well, my insurance was being CHARGED for every appt (for "dry eye) which seems to be their new thing. What he needed to do was a free lasik surgery on my right eye when the I finally realized a) he was charging my insurance and b) he was never going to do lasik surgery. Cancelled appts and will never go back!!

Dr. Evans has been my eye doctor of choice for many years. He also sees my husband and my daughters. He did Lasik eye surgery on two of my 3 daughters and they had wonderful results. I have been to his Huebner road office but now go to his office off of Loop 1604 office. The staff at both are wonderful but the office at the Starlight location is really terrific. In my opinion you can't a more concerned Dr. that really cares about your complete eye health! The wait at Starlight is minimum!
