Excellent ophthalmologist and surgeon!
Amazing doctor! Actually takes time to explain everything and was very patient in dealing with my multiple questions. He helped me select the best lens replacements (LAL Plus) and performed the surgery. Very personable and reassuring and all his staff are wonderful as well. I drove a 7 hour round trip for each appointment when there were excellent ophthalmologists within 10 minutes of my house to choose from which ought to tell you how good I think he is!

Dr. Compagna is an outstanding Ophthalmologist and Surgeon. I am very fortunate to be one of his patients. Glaucoma is a serious eye disease and I remain thankful to be under his care. Dr. Compagna is extremely busy, which simply indicates the need and demand for his level of care.

Dr Campagna saved my sight when other opthomologists misdiagnosed me.. He is hands down the BEST glaucoma specialist in Texas, and dare I say, the US. His chair side manner is compassionate and caring and patients have the feeling that he truly cares about his work as a doctor and takes his oath seriously. I highly recommend him.

I recently had a neck injection and awoke to a left corneal abrasion. I was by name told to see Dr Campagna. I am a retired Imagery Analyst, meaning the government invested a ton of money in my eyes. My corrective eye surgery was done by the co-founder of lasik. With that said.. I have seen the best in the business.... This guy topped them all! Knows his stuff... Has a great staff. And if I had to travel to be worked on by him, I would! As for the scheduling, I had to have the hospital do it.

Dr. Campagna was referred to me by a friend that has had glaucoma for years. He is considered one of the best eye doctors in the state of Texas. He does have very long wait time. This is usually because he sees a number of patients and does spend time with them explaining any conditions they may have. I don't like the wait, but I'm willing to wait for his expertise in his field.
