Great Doctor
My sister is intellectually compromised but she needed cataract surgery. Dr. Barnes very competently took her through the procedure and has shown patience and understanding throughout the entire process. I wholeheartedly endorse him.

I have a very bad experience with this clinic. nothing to said about the Doctor but her Surgery coordinator name Jennifer does not do her Job. She scheduled one surgery appointment for my dad. and send me to his primary doctor to do some exams after I sended to her her. I ask her if the surgery will be tomorrow she said yes I request the address and went to the hospital at 5:00 am because the hospital required to be there early. When he was ready for the surgery. I requested couple of days off in my job for this surgery. around 6:15 . The hospital told me that insurrance doesn’t approved the surgery I try to contact Jennifer but she never pick up the phone. I contact my dad insurrance at 9:am and they told me that the auth # that Jennifer provide me was for a different person? She made a big messed and lost our time woke up to early for nothing. after 5 hours trying to resolve this pre auth with his insurrance they told me that she did not send the correct documents.

I make appointment a month ago and today 08/16/2019 by 9:15 I arrived at the clinic I write my name in the front seat and also make a tick mark on new patent box then after I sit there an hour and 15 minutes i Ask the front desk if I have to fill any form for the new patient even though she take the sticker that I write my name she doesn’t even see that I’m a new patient until I told her then she gave me the paperwork and ask my id and insurance card then told me that my insurance is not acceptable here but she told me that after more than an hour her name is Jennefer also when I call before I came they told me it’s acceptable that’s why I wait a month and come on my time I wasn’t even go to work because I have appointment the front desk girls need to focus on their job and paper than they talk all the time

Dr. Barnes is a compassionate, smart, and experience doctor. I went to Dr. Barnes during a serious emergency (scratched my cornea and my cornea was inflamed). I was in more pain than I had ever experienced in my life. His staff kindly rushed me in to see him. Dr. Barnes explained everything to me, examined me, and treated me with respect and kindness. He even ran to his car to grab a medicine that would help relieve my pain. Now the pain is gone & I am regaining my full vision. Thank you!
