Dr. Randy Rowlands, MD

Firstly his staff are the best. Dr Rowland always answers questions and concerns.

Dr. Rowlands has been great for me for the past couple of decades. Clear in his explanations and everything he looks for makes great sense to me.He's left Optum - I'm trying to find out where he went. Does anyone know?

The staff is very friendly. I felt like I was rushed into his office. I requested a blood test to find out if I ever had the chicken pox and he refused. He just wanted to push the vaccine.

Dr. Rowlands has treated my Father for almost 20 years and is the main reason we were blessed to have been able to celebrate his 89th birthday just a few days ago. I work as an RN in an NYC and have been honored to work with some of the best doctors in the world. However, I trust Dr. Rowlands above them all! Excellent bedside manner, compassionate, and brilliant to say the least. He knows his stuff but always remains professional, respectful, and humble at all times. Dr. Rowlands has been a gift to our family and we are forever grateful for you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr Rowlands really knows his stuff. He listens and explains exactly what he thinks is the problem. The only issue is he does not take a personal interest in you. On each visit he acts like it is the first time he has met you. So he forgets everything you previously discussed and does not phone you with critical test results even though he was very concerned during your visits.

Took his time on my physical.Very good at communicating to me my labs. He also was very attentive to my questions.Happy with my first visit to him.

Dr. Rowlands is my primary care physician. He is an outstanding doctor and is always available and provides " best in class" care! My entire family used him.

I highly recommend Dr. Rowlands. He has been my primary doctor since I left NYC in March 2020 due to Covid. He is a smart and compassionate doctor with an excellent manner, always taking the time to understand and explain the medical situation to his patient. Additionally, he is very responsive and quick to return calls/messages. He even squeezed me in the next day when I had an emergency, no problems, no long waits. His staff is very friendly and professional. I enthusiastically give Dr. Rowlands five stars and strongly recommend his services.

Very happy with my first visit with Dr Rowland’s in his new office on Sunset Av Ocean N.J. He was very courteous and understanding. He recommended tests to help diagnose my issues and got back to me with results and recommendations quickly!

He has left the Practice & will probably start his own Practice somewhere else, hopefully soon! Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine

Dr. Rowlands is highly recommended! A doctor who listens with great care to each concern and provides concise and knowledgeable feedback. He has been my doctor for over 7 years now, regardless of his office moves, and a handful of moves on my end (including out-of-state). I have recommended Dr. Rowlands to loved ones, and I recommend him to those who prefer a doctor who can accommodate with a positive attitude.

He refused to give me meds and I ended up very sick. I Wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't blow off my infection when i first went to him.

Very long wait time which ruined my entire first visit with Dr. Rowlands. Complained after sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes then sat in the exam room for another 30 minutes before a tech took my vitals then another 25 minutes before I walked out to leave and ran into the doctor. The waiting room was nearly empty and it was early in the day. I'm sure Dr. Rowlands is a good physician but I was too angry from waiting to have any real conversation with the doctor. Don't waste your time
