The office staff and Arlene RNP were professional, caring and genuine. Dr Peter did my endoscopy. He answered all my questions and the procedure was thoroughly explained. Everyone was sincere, professional and attentive. I was especially thankful that I could get an appointment in a reasonable timeframe and have the endoscopy relatively soon. Thank you all so much!

The doctor was not even in the US. I've never met the man, but I was charged $50 for no show, when in reality, he is the no show. If anyone owes anyone, he owes me for my wasted time. His office should have cancelled the appt, surely they knew he was not in country. The appts were on 11-6-2023 and 1-11-2024. I called the office prior to my latter appt and was told he was out of country. That is what happened. He was the no show.

Dr. Kanuri was very professional and friendly.

Bedside manner was nonexistent. Doctor Kanuri and his staff are insensitive and rude, and completely unprofessional. Treated my sister like she was just a name on the schedule, when you are giving someone life changing results you would think human nature would cause you to be compassionate, not in this case. I don’t recommend this practice at all

This doctor horrified my spouse about a biopsy procedure which unfortunately led to unnecessary procrastination and time wasted. Years later, once again referred to this doctor by a different physician, prognosis was more urgent - cancer. Biopsy healing took longer, which makes me think it was done poorly. Bottom line, IF you have prostrate concerns, go somewhere else. IF you need a biopsy go somewhere else. IF it's cancer, go to Moffitt right away -- professional & efficent team. STEER AWAY from Dr. Kanuri. Thankfully my spouse survived his surgery and is doing well -- ALL THANKS TO THE TEAM @ MOFFITT!!

I was referred to Dr Kanuri after another doctor had discovered I had ascites and sent me for a CT scan then to Dr Kanuri for the results. Instead of giving me the results right away he proceeded to warn me of the dangers of drinking? I only drink beer and never hard stuff and no acetaminophen (Tylenol). He said Tylenol was perfectly safe even taken with alcohol. Then he told me my liver was fine! He was reluctant to give me the CD, but did and I left. Inept comes to mind.

I found him so rude!!!! I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy! When your in pain, you want someone to work with you to help figure out what is wrong.

The doctor, himself, seemed fine....however, his staff has not a clue!!! No one got a Medicare predetermination and verified that I had not had a colonoscopy in 10 years, and now want to bill me for the procedure. Then, my wife cancelled her colonoscopy, yet the surgical area called to tell her to come in at 8 am tomorrow....no way to do business!

Years ago I thought Kanuri was a great doctor. Like him, his staff and his way of handling things. He may still be a great doctor if I could see him. Multiple problems have persisted for almost 5 months now. Was handed over to nurse practitioner who essentially said because I had a clean colonoscopy 7 years ago, no further testing is warranted. Recommended steps/meds/supplements are not working but the party line also remains the same. There must be a root cause.

I found Dr. Kanuri to be caring yet concise. He performed a colonoscopy on me without any discomfort. Most patients opt for light sedation. However, I choose not to be sedated and found his procedure very comfortable. I had a polyp removed without any pain.

Kanuri did my 6th EGD as I have Barrett's Esophagus, which can turn into esophageal cancer if left untreated. He changed my medication to Nexium, which worked great, but when my insurance simply needed him to submit a prior authorization form, he refused, stating his office just doesn't do them. His medical assistant was quite rude on the phone and said "you can buy it over the counter" and hung up on me. Doing your procedure=$ for him. Office visits=$ for him. Follow up care= you're on your own

Dr. Kanuri performed two colonoscopies and 1 endoscopy. I was very pleased with him. He answered all my questions and I made me feel comfortable. He has his own surgical center which is wonderful. His staff is competent and very helpful. I never felt I was being pushed aside or hurried. I would recommend him with total confidence.

Very caring ,Considerate ,Personable and reassuring. He is confident and relaxed which instills the same feeling in me.

Because I had not met with Dr. Kanuri prior to my colonoscopy, I was nervous to say the least. His PA was very nice, but theunknown still loomed! Dr. Kanuri and all of the staff were absolutely wonderful and made me feel at ease! I can't say enough good things!!

He was very rude, non empathetic, and actually asked ME what he should do for me. Was very rude to my husband as well. I was there for another opinion, looking for help from chronic colitis and loss of blood. He literally told me there was nothing he would do for me, since I had already seen another doctor that diagnosed ulcerative colitis. He literally said he would do nothing for me.
