Dr. Azzam Muftah, MD

My wife and I have been going to Doctor Muftah for many years! Doctor Muftah was able to find a very small sisal polyp in my wife’s colon that was problematic and required 5 inches of her colon to be removed. We were told by the surgeon that we were fortunate that Doctor Muftah found this as it was so small. Today I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with doctor Aboud. Nurse Sue, Lindsey, anesthesiologist Scott and assisting nurse in procedure room were professional, caring and attentive! Doctor Aboud was excellent and explained the results clearly to me. Over the years, the front desk staff has been very helpful, especially Cecelia! Physicians Assistant Tabitha has always been professional and caring when reviewing our records!We highly recommend Doctors Muftah and Aboud for any gastrointestinal problems!,

Everyone on staff was so pleasant and helpful.

So bad that after three days in hospital I saw the doctor once. Wasn't given any information, wasn't told what was wrong, made me stay an extra night just to take blood once. I checked myself out of the hospital just so I could see another doctor who actually cares. He just pads the bill for Oak Hill Hospital. I do not recommend.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Muftah for some 15 years. He has always been caring and professional with us both. And our proceedures have always been performed without any issues. His new office is wonderful and well run. We are happy and fortunate to have his expertise.

Both my self and my husband have been seeing Dr Muftah for many years. He is a very nice Doctor. Explains everything clearly. Have had procedures without any problems. Easy to talk to and very professional.

I find it uncharacteristically heartless to send a bill to a deceased person's family the week before Christmas. It's exceptionally rude as it's over 9years old and a closed account.

9 years after a patient has passed on is no time to bill the family. If you didn't secure payments for your services 9 years ago, you need to let the issue go. I am appalled at the insensitive nature of this so-called professional.

I've found the office staff very busy but extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Mufti has performed 3 procedures for me and one for my wife. We've both found him extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. He has always taken the time to explain everything to us. Highly recommend.

my husband and I have gone to Dr. Muftah for 20 years. We would recommend him highly. The office staff are always friendly and very helpful. Dr Muftah has always taken the time to explain everything so we understand all that is going on and the options for treatment. When necessary he made sure we had appointments with the best specialist for my husband. He is great I would recommend him to anyone! I credit him with helping to save my husbands life.

Went right to the heart of my problems. Recommended medication changes that would work for me. Reviewed previous doctor reports and signed release for test results to compare info. Set up follow up appt. Everything went very smoothly. Great job from everyone. Dr. Muftah still the greatest Dr yet.??

Office staff is not professional. Not rude, but not helpful AT ALL.. We had our primary care call this doctor and his staff was given the same non-helpful information. It appears that Dr. Muftah's staff feels they can disrespect the patients, other doctors, etc. The front desk is a reflection of the doctor. I feel that Dr. Muftah either doesn't care and has directed his staff this way, or he just doesn't know. Hire an Office Manager sir and fix your scheduling of appointments

I had him in the er and my hospital stay, very nice and concerned. I will use him instead of my regular G I even tho he's farther away than mine

He took amazing care of my father for 22 years. He would have died in 1994 without this doctors care.

If you want to stay alive do not go to this doctor. He does not care about his patients or their well being. If you are on Ultimate Insurance...get off. He is the VP of Ultimate insurance. He will not order the tests you need to keep costs down for his insurance company. You will get sub-standard care. BEWARE!!

This doctor should have his license revoked.
