Dr Rophie was very friendly and so was his staff. Easy to park in a residential area 1/2 a mile from Morton Plant

The guy couldn’t be anymore unprofessional. He is completely inappropriate. If you go in for a cold, he asks about your sex life. He has four dogs running around in the office. He touches the dog’s dirty bed and then touches the patient without washing his hands. It’s not surprising that he went to medical school outside of the U.S. He probably couldn’t get into medical school here. He just likes to push pot therapy onto everyone.

WOW - Should’ve read more feedback across review platforms. Good responsiveness at the start; got an email back about my inquiry asking to book an appointment during hours. I did, after getting several questions answered. The receptionist woman I spoke with on the phone for booking was very informative and kind. A few days later I showed up for the appointment and began filling out paperwork. I quickly realized the large elaborate packet of paper needed completed, and (being in the field of privacy and legal contracts) I requested a reschedule for time to properly review the paperwork. The female receptionist in the office this day (I don’t believe to be the same one who booked the appointment) very “snob-ishly” retorted “I mean, it’s all the normal stuff; it’s only like four pages and some check boxes...” super passive-aggressive and with rolling eyes attitude. (Verifiable) After politely asking again and receiving an appointment reschedule, I firmly stated before leaving “And, with

Dr Rophie's staff is polite and corteous, Dr. Rophie not so much. He does not listen even when he asks a question, is generally rude, he brings his dog into the exam room with him (pet, not service animal) and has odd hours with no answering service on his office phone so if you need to get through you just have to keep calling and calling.

People close to me went here and I was so disappointed and shocked a doctor could be so careless and rude. I would try to find other doctors in the area, for sure.

My whole family came to him for years. Then my granddaughter went in and he was terribly rude and horribly out of line. I would never want anyone to go through that for what little help he ever provided her.Not only her,but 6 other family members gave him chance after chance for over 8 years, and he was insufficient multiple times to each person, even making some cry, not because medical issues, but his own bad mannered commentary.Only go here if you'd like pills thrown at you, or for a simple flu

Very rude, and unprofessional. I thought he was a good doctor; however, after everything in the last few years, I would never recommend him again. He does not care about his patients, and never listens. Multiple times I've seen him make patients cry due to his lack of caring and rudeness. I also witnessed numerous rude comments about a patient's weight, despite what she had gone through with health problems. She was reduced to tears each time. That's not right, or a good Dr. Horrible manners..

VERY rude, VERY poor people skills, and almost always tries to rush his visits. He cannot listen to clients, and will make them schedule appointments and then conveniently can't do exactly what your appointment was scheduled for. Also, wait time is at least 30-45 minutes. Can be VERY nasty for no reason, and brings HIS ISSUES to work with him. VERY unprofessional and only cares about money, obviously. I would not recommend him to anyone. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
