Doctor Austin ordered lab work that I did not agree to have done and I was stuck with a $700 bill. IMO he is a dishonest person

Just received a letter in the mail that he is closing his practice. All I can say is good riddings, because he was awful and very argumentative if you objected to something. Farewell to this so called doctor.

I am thankful for Dr. Austin and his office staff. He has the sweetest front desk lady and she is always is responsive. Dr Austin's nurses are a blessing and always so kind to me. Dr. Austin always talks to me as long as I need. He doesn't push drugs and always tries to understand the problem before prescribing anything. He is willing to read and research on my behalf. I know I will get the attention I need and not just 15 minutes. I have sent my husband to him and will be sending my son.

Not sure if he is part of the problem... however front office person is horrible. Needs more training on how to deal with people. An illness could have been helped a week ago if the patient was brought in like another Doctor advised.

in the last week The staff up front (Secretary, little workers) whatever you want to call them) are terrible people, they treat folks bad, lie to paitents, and I know at least 11 patients that have left a good Doctor (have released them selves as a patient and gone to another) all because of them. I have not had my prescription since August 18th of 2017... I had an appointment on September 12th to see Dr Austin. They called me the same day of my appointment to cancel, so I made another one with

Figured to pass the time while sitting in this empty waiting room I would vent. 2nd and last time here. Both times its taken over an hour to get called back. What makes matters worst is there is only about 8 people who have signed in today, the last one was several hours ago. I think he's either not here or asleep. I've now been waiting an hour.
