Gentle, soft spoken and professional....
This was my 4th colonoscopy over the past 25 years and my best experience to date. Dr. Goswami was professional, and courteous....exactly what I hoped for. I was concerned by some of the reviews and find no basis for them based on my experience which is 5 stars. I will see her again next time I'm due for this procedure. It was a pleasure meeting her.

Dr. Goswami was very professional and efficient and she took the time to explain the procedure in advance, as well as spent time reviewing the results of the findings with me. Highly recommended and I am very appreciative of being under her care.

My appointment with Dr. Goswami left me feeling uneasy about who was managing my disease. I felt that she had very poor manners and strengthened my belief in a stigma in the healthcare system towards individuals struggling with addiction. I also felt that she blamed me for being unware of a procedure I required after my hospital stay and made me feel as it is was my fault for not scheduling the procedure that I was not aware that I needed. I am currently looking for a new doctor due to this awful experience , would certainly not recommend

Dr. Goswami is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She's a straight-shooting no-BS provider who I've found to be kind and encouraging but not coddling, which is what I want. I have plenty of friends--I don't need my doctor to be my friend, but to manage the care for my health issues and interpret the numerous tests and physician visits that go into managing my illness. I trust her, and the digestive health team at AGH, implicitly. My care has been excellent.

I went & saw Dr. Goswami as a follow-up to an ER visit. My appointment was at 11am, and I walked out of the building at 11:05am. She came into the room with her mind already made up, & would not entertain any sort of brainstorming as to what could be wrong with me. She told me to just take pictures of the issue if it happens again & document it. Her nurse came in after & gave me her extension saying that if it happened again to call. It happened again & I was told to just go back to the ER.

I was hesitant to see Dr. Goswami from the other bad review. But I must say, I thought she was very nice, very concerned, and listened to my concerns. Don't let that other negative review keep you from seeing her.

I went to Dr. Goswami because I called with a problem I had been facing for 4-5 months, and they gave me a same day appointment. She didn't really listen to my problem or concerns. She had her mind made up about my condition before she entered the room. This was the FIRST doctor in my history (and I've been to a lot, having survived cancer) that I've EVER been to that did not even lay her hands on me. What kind of doctor doesn't examine a patient with a severe and legitimate concern?
