Dr. Rachel Saul, DO

Nothing about my very typical experiences with this doctor (annual check ups) has been exceptional or worthy of “boutique” payment. Dr. Saul and their practice just moved to a “boutique” payment model, where you must pay them money each month just to keep them as your doctor. It’s not optional, and they are refusing you care anymore if you do not pay. Not worth it. I’d suggest moving on.

Had been seeing her for a few years now, and besides a few rather judgmental reactions to some lifestyle decisions of mine, I liked her fine as a doctor. I was happy to finally have a pcp that I could see for years to come. Until they recently decided to switch to a ‘boutique model’ and are only keeping their customers that will pay them $40/month (per person). Even if you don’t have an appt for that month… you’re still paying them. Definitely disappointed to hear that Saul is pricing out her lower income and older customers, all so that she can make a few extra bucks. It’s frustrating when you think about how overpriced healthcare is to begin with, even without greedy physicians trying to squeeze more out of you. Bottom line- Saul is an ok? Doctor, but certainly not worth an extra $480/year kind of a doctor, give me a break.

Incompetent doctor.

I am a retired RN and I have worked with many doctors and nurses and this is most unprofessional office I’ve ever witnessed. I had several very rude and concerning experiences with the other doctors in this office and afterwards Dr Saul, who was my primary doctor at the time, refused to listen to me and was dismissive of my concerns. Dr Saul acted childish and unprofessional. Your doctor should be your advocate and they stick up for themselves and their pocketbooks. It’s a disgrace of an office.

I've never had to wait for Dr. Saul. Most times I don't even take a seat. The office staff has always been very friendly. Dr. Saul makes sure to review my case thoroughly and asks me a lot of questions to understand what is wrong. She's got a good sense of who to refer me to and makes it easy to get to see them. I've been very pleased with her knowledge and ability to help me.

After reading all the other good reviews, I was surprised by how nervous/uncomfortable/inexperienced she seemed. Especially when it came to discussing mental health issues (just asking about simple background info). I needed to have bloodwork done due to a medication I’m on & she kept referring to it as my medication levels. Um, this medication isn’t going to show up on a blood test and the purpose was to measure how the medication was affecting my body, not how much of it was in my blood.

Dr. Saul was very friendly and welcoming. She answered all of my questions to completion. Dr. Saul made me feel very comfortable during my visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Saul to all friends and family.

Dr. Saul was very kind and professional. As a new patient, I appreciate that she met with me to discuss my medical history and concerns - BEFORE - having me change into a gown for the exam. That is an example of respect for your patients and their privacy. Looking forward to having her continue to support my health care goals.

Dr. Saul has been awesome from the time of my first visit. She listens very well and offers recommendations as needed. In my case, she recommended trying Victoza in order to try and get my A1c numbers down to a manageable level. The results have been amazing, my finger sticks are averaging close to 120, and I have also lost weight which helps. After my physical yesterday and showing her my journal, she is very happy and supportive of my results. Highly recommend this young lady!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Saul. I saw her for my physical about a week ago. She listened to my concerns, and she was very receptive to my questions. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new primary care physician.

Dr. Saul is nurturing, upbeat, cheerful and fun. I feel confident that I am receiving a high level of care. As a senior, I appreciate that she carefully explains everything to me.

Dr. Saul is amazing! She is very friendly and caring. She really listens well and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I have had two interactions with her since she has been at the practice I go to and both times she has been great. She really makes me feel cared for each time I see her and so I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent doctor who cares dearly bout her patients!

Dr. Saul is wonderful. As a new patient in the practice, she listened to my concerns, answered my questions and her answers were clear and helpful. She went above and beyond at my last appointment and waited to receive information that helped with my care. I would highly recommend Dr. Saul. She is knowledgable, friendly and caring.

I must say my appointment with Dr. Saul was above comforting. Dr. Saul listened to my concerns, answered my questions and treatment was spot on. I am usually quite anxious about visits but Dr. Sauls compassion and sense of humor is greatly appreciated. I will definitly schedule with her again and highly recommend.

I love Dr Saul! I was coming from a practice that I had been going to for probably 25 years. Needless to say I was nervous but this practice is awesome! I have a lot of issues and she has been wonderful during all the transition. The staff is wonderful too! Dr Saul is the greatest and so caring and understanding!!!

Dr Saul is very smart, friendly, and helpful. She listened to my concerns and thoughts then made excellent suggestions based on her knowledge and considered my input as well. Switching doctors can be overwhelming (especially in a new state), but the staff at New West and Dr Saul made the transition easy and have a new long term patient.

I found her to be very professional, especially as a new doctor. She was patient and took the time to listen to my history and concerns. She provided insight on some medication I had questioned. Which I greatly appreciated. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Saul to anyone looking for a primary physician.
