Dr Palmer is great, PA is not
I've seen Dr. Palmer for a couple of decades. She's very friendly, listens to me, will give me alternative remedies since she knows I don't like meds. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner. I do not like her PA and decided I'd wait to see the doctor. I recently had an injury and couldn't wait the 2-3 weeks to see the doctor, so I settled for her PA who misdiagnosed my issue. I have been dealing with extreme pain for 6 weeks, went to the ER for some treatment and no one from this practice folllowed up with me.

Dr. Palmer is a great listener and very compassionate. Highly recommend her. While at previous appointments the staff has seemed rude or uncaring, this time it was a completely different experience.

Dr. Palmer always spends the time we need to be sure she understands my concerns and I understand what she knows about my condition. She looks for solutions and clearly knows where to look. She's very knowledgable but always willing to learn. She is cheerful and compassionate. And she follows up after appointments to be sure everything went as expected.

Dr. Palmer has been my primary doctor for about 12 years and I like going to her because she shows a definite concern for my issues. She takes the time to answer all of my questions and will offer me good advice for my concerns. I am very comfortable with her as my doctor and will continue to use her for as long as I can.

My mother, who is 96 yrs old (young), has been a patient of Dr Palmer's for many years. Initially, my mom saw Dr Palmer independently and has always felt like she has gotten excellent care. It has become apparent to me, as I have chaperoned my mom on her visits in the last several years, that Dr Palmer has a genuine concern for her patients, listens to them, and treats each with dignity and respect regardless of how young or old they may be.

I’ve been going to this practice for almost 20 years. I’ve seen Dr Palmer TWICE. The PA I am required to see I am not a fan of. The front office staff is slow for check ins. The tiny 5x5 room you are required to sit in while someone asks you a bunch of medical questions is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure the doctor/PA never even reviews it. I am always taken back 5+ minutes after my scheduled appointment. Then I usually sit in the room for at least another 30 minutes while I wait for the PA. My last annual physical took less than 10 minutes. Why am I still here? Because insurance makes it a pain in the rear to find a new doctor.

Dr Palmer personally and continually calls to check up on my 87 year old mother and sees her regularly. She also has seen me, my wife and son on Saturdays or on short notice when our pcp in the practice is booked.

Just horrible! Perscribed generic when already taking name brand causing me to take double the amount and issues. Can’t even write script for oxygen without medicare denying it-oxygen level 72! I have little to no confidence-does anyone in that office know what they are doing? If you decide to take the chance, make sure you follow up on EVERYTHING.

It is a shame that the staff is not efficient in getting results and followup info to the patient after taking labs, x-rays, etc. I went to the emergency room to get results for my pain in two hours . Two days later I was called by the office to see what medications the ER prescribed to me. I asked about my results from my x-ray and they said they were not in my file. STILL. Dr. Palmer is a good doctor it's just the staff.

It's really too bad that there is very little follow up. My son has been waiting 8 days for test results and I guess we can assume everything is ok. A follow up would be nice.

Dr. P is the most dedicated doctor I've ever known. She is able to think outside the box & that is very rare. She never gives up on her patients. She is always running behind but that's ok because she's listening & caring about her patients. So you don't mind the delay because you know she'll spend the time needed for you too. She is my precious Guru! ??????
