My Amazing Dermo
Dr. Loftus is our family go to. She is busy, and even though she does not take new patients, she has seen my children, and for that we are thankful. Dr. Loftus is intelligent and thoughtful.

A total lifesaver when our kids had something gross when they came back from camp. We were relieved to find out it was nothing dangerous, but it was 100% scary looking. Dr. Farley-Loftus was reassuring, and within a week or two got them back into shape, as much as I hate using antibiotics, she was encouraging and reassuring, and sure enough it was the right thing. Just one of the many times I have been to the office, but one that sticks out in my memory.

Obnoxious, lying and incompetent staff
I had been going Dr. Farley-Loftus for many years. Nothing special - just regular check ups, usually takes 3 minutes of her time. One thing that is constant in that office -you have to wait. Then you are placed in a room, undress, then wait again. Then the nice doctor comes in an APOLOGIZES for the wait. Today I finally realized that this was due to her incompetent lying staff, who does not care for the patients' time. Today I had to wait 20+ minutes to find out that the doctor started to do a procedure for another patient while I had been already in the office. It is not clear why they had scheduled that patient at the same time as me, or if that patient was late for her appointment. The bottom line - I was on time, but the wait time in that office is predictably unpredictable. Well, for this patient - if you don't care for my time, I don't care for your service.

Appointment
Had an appointment today. Drove from NYC Got to the office and the most obnoxious man at the front desk would not let me keep my appointment because I did not bring my Medicare cards even though they had my numbers and I said I would send them when I got home. He said no had to have them. He also said it was my problem that I drove from New York. He should be fired. Disgusting person that he was. I obviously would never go there again. Ask so would not let me speak to anyone else. The worst experience ever. Never has that been done to me before. I sure hope Dr Farley sees this

I’ve been to many dermatologists in NY, NJ, India, Empire state building, Fifth Ave, wherever people have referred having suffered from eczema all my life. I’ve tried everything from herbal teas, ink, homeotherapy, proprietary medicines, and cortisone injections. She obviously couldn’t cure me bc eczema doesn’t have a cure but she listened and asked many questions and provided different treatment options to address flares and provide maintenance care starting with milder options and working up. She also did a good job of explaining how to apply, when, potential concerns (when I was pregnant), and other options to look into causes/ triggers. I’ve stuck with her bc I believe she is knowledgeable and has my best interests.

The two doctors I saw here were very nice, but I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend this place because I was treated with such disinterest and discourtesy from the front desk staff. They are disorganized and typically rude. My last appointment I was scheduled for a time that everyone seemed to be on lunch. After 15 mins of sitting alone in the office I asked about my appointment and the front desk girl said she was "trying to find someone" for me. She ended up taking me back to a room and taking my stitches out herself because she couldn't get anyone to come. I sat down in the chair and she looked at my forehead (where I had another surgery a few weeks prior) and I had to be the one to inform her that the stitches that were being removed were on my chest. I appreciate her not making me sit in the waiting room, but I think she should have at least looked at my chart before putting her hands on me and the office shouldn't have put us in that position in the first place with crappy schedule.

Dr. Farley was a pleasure to deal with. She was thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. Had my consultation and mole removal the same day. I was in and out in 15 minutes! Staff was nice and everything was very clean. Highly recommend.
