Dr. Rachel Crain, MD

She is all business as soon as she enters the door. She is very fast to diagnose my problems such as throat cancer one visit and an issue with my vocal cord another. She saw the urgency of checking my cancerous 'spot' and made room to do a biopsy the following day. It proved to be cancer and again she moved things in her schedule to get me in and to remove the cancer. She did a wonderful job and I didn't require Radiation or chemo. When in the recovery room every time I was in she was the first thing i saw when I came to. The feeling that she cares very much for my life and well being is inescapable. I think the world of her and rate her tops of the list. I've had other surgeons whom I never saw before or after the surgery. It was another day all together. It doesn't hurt that she is beautiful and when she smiles at me after the surgery I feel confident everything will be fine. I've read reviews where patients do not like her very business-like demeanor. Get over yourself.

DR Crain was to operate on me on a few different occasions, something always seemed to get in the way, delayed over and over. Finally a week before surgery and Dr Crain declined the surgery, she claims it's not her(right). Office refers me to Mayo Clinic, I can't afford this,she knows that,she doesn't care. Dr Crain is very self absorbed, it's all about her, she doesn't have a plan of action or contingency if something goes wrong, expects her staff to preform miracles, and the patients to do her leg work. Disappointing to say the least

Dr. Crain was my son ent doctor on October 9th 2013 my son and his grandmother decided to visit my niece at the hospital before my son's appointment as they were leaving the hospital my son stopped breathing. Dr. Crain had came to the hospital to check on him during office hours. I'm very thankful for the compassion, and love that she showed my son.

Do not go to see this doctor.. she acted as though I was wasting her time and has no patient empathy. Horrible bedside manner. Maybe she was having a bad day I don’t know but I have talked with others who expressed the same. Not a good feeling when you leave a new doctor feeling like you were a bother..

Dr. Crain is an incredibly thorough, well trained and experienced surgeon. He manner is strictly professional and I felt I could not be in better hands for diagnostic and for my throat cancer surgery. I find her personality engaging and in recover she waited until I awoke and greeted me with a reassuring smile that made me feel I was going to be alright. I know of no other doctor in whom I have complete trust and confidence.

Overprescribed.

Doctor Crain was the most rude, condescending Doctor I have ever been too. No people skills, Did not listen to a thing I had to say. Never introduced herself to me. Never gave me a diagnosis. Was completely disinterested and rude to me. I will never go to this doctor again.
