I will never be able to truly repay this man for the time, dedication and expertise he has given me and my family. My case was complicated and unusual yet throughout the whole process of diagnosis and surgery Dr Roland made my family and I feel optimistic and relaxed. In recovery he made it seem like he had all the time in the world to talk to me and answer my questions, his ‘bed side manner’ is exceptional. My ‘check ups’ are somthing that my family look forward to! He is an amazing doctor.

I started going to Dr. Roland 2 1/2 yrs. ago. At my first appointment I immediately felt I was in the best care. Dr. Roland was extremely compassionate and respectful. He explained everything to me, and after my surgery I was amazed at how well I felt and how fast my recovery was. I am still going to follow up visits. He always answers my questions, I never feel rushed, and he is such a pleasant and highly intelligent person. I feel fortunate to have been recommended to him.

Dr. Roland has a gentle manner. When explaining medical terms, He is precise and makes certain that the patient understands. His encouragement is always appreciated. As a frightened new patient, he allowed me time to change my mind, twice. In the end, I placed all my confidence in his hands. Surgery was painless. Follow up is easily scheduled. Would certainly refer to all.

Dr. Roland is an extremely compassionate and caring doctor who's service I have the utmost trust and confidence. His personal efforts and support through the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment phase has been excellent and fortified my confidence in St. Francis Hospital to provide the cancer treatment, and in the commitment of the Women's Health Center with follow-up care that became a key consideration in the decision to go with St. Francis Hospital. Thanks again for the work done on my behalf.

Dr. Roland is one of the most skilled, compassionate, and sensitive doctors I have ever met. His manner in explaining my cancer to me and listing the options available allayed all f my fears and made my treatment one that I faced with absolute confidence. All of the staff who work with Dr. Roland are equally skilled. I actually look forward to seeing all of them!

I can't say enough good about St Francis Comprehensive Womens Center, it is a complete experience from start to finish. In fact, I arrived like 20 min early - and they took me right away. The warmth and tenderness and care that is put into the patients and atmosphere is very comforting and so geared towards us women! From the receptionists, to the medical assistants - to my fabulous doctor (Phillip Roland MD), I'm always extremely satisfied and happy to go back. The free valet parking is a plus!

I didn't like his personality, there is something awkward on him. He has good manners though and is very respectful. After I went to Yale and got a second opinion I finally was able to be part of the best trials available
