Abrasive. Cold. Argumentative. Egocentric
Yesterday he kept me waiting 50 minutes past my appointment without even seeing him. He only came into the room after I complained. He refused to treat me, refused to order labs, and refused to do anything more than spend 30 seconds listening to my lungs when my complaint had little to nothing to do with that area. He was disrespectful and flippant about the late time and it was clear he had forgotten I was in an exam room waiting on him. He then argued with me about an emergency room visit. Tried to bully me into having an ambulance called and absolutely refused to even take so much as a finger stick to check my blood thinner level. I tried to tell him I have a medically complex child and can't just go to the ER without having a place for them, and he absolutely refused to listen, argued with me about hospital policy and used extremely unprofessional language. I would not trust him to put a bandaid on a dead dog, never before has a Dr made me cry while on the phone with their manager!

I had a very good experience with Dr. Ransmeier. Took the time to listen well, treated my issues seriously, demonstrated a practical willingness to take my feedback and experience into account (important to me), and respected my interest in collaborating/consulting with other physicians in my support system. Early days of working with him, but so far very good.

Worse than Dr. “HOUSE”. This dr was has horrible bed side manor. I have had multiple pain symptoms for years and always ignored. This dr. was very annoyed with me listing my symptoms (which was the purpose of this visit) and treated me like I was a hypochondriac. He referred me to PT. I had to convince him that I needed more than PT, finally agreed for blood work to later find out I actually had an autoimmune disease that will not get better. I am thankful that he made appropriate recommendations leading to my diagnosis by another dr. but he is very rude and appeared to be very uncomfortable with a woman patient... days after my appointment I received several random “hang up” phone calls. With a little research I found the number was his personal number, listed in the white pages. I called the drs office to see if there were notes for him trying to reach me for medical needs and his nurse had no idea why he was calling... and stated that he shouldn’t be using personal phone! CREEPER!

Condescending, dismissive, and no display of empathy whatsoever. Became irritated when I asked him to explain further a possible medication side-effect he casually mentioned. I hope to never see this man again.

Was talked down to, doesn't understand that they can make suggestions but not requirements. Got angry and upset that I did not want to follow their "requirement".
