The Best Doctor Ever!
Sadly we are no longer in Dr. McIver's area. For several years we did travel back to see him! (2 hours each way) He provides excellent care with skill and compassion.We still miss you Dr. Mac!

Dr McIver
Top Doctor. Very caring. Very thorough. He is the best Doctor. Very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and good doctor. My husband agrees with me totally.

I have been seeing Dr. McIver since he first came to Kingston. (In fact I was seeing the doctor who hired him. ( I have been going to this practice for over 50 years) He took care of not only me but my mother, father, brother and now my husband. Saw my 2 children before they grew up and moved away. He is very understanding and spends what time he can with you and explains what is going on. If I have questions they are answered so that you understand them. When hospitalized he visits to check on your wellbeing. He takes care of my husband as well. Seems like a family member to us after all these years (it is as though we have seen him grow like one of our own children). During one of our last visits we asked him if he was going to be able to stay in Kingston to continue to be our primary doctor. We do have worries that he will retire before we are ready to have to more into a nursing facility. (That is years away we hope.) He reassured us he would NOT be going anywhere.

I feel Dr. McIver is very good. The last few times I went to his office, he prescribed what I needed perfectly. He is pleasant, and understanding. I have had him as my doctor since my previous one retired.
