Mr. Mcganity has performed knee surgery on my husband and step father and a steel plate implant on my broken wrist. His bedside manner and surgical skills are the best out there!! I highly recommend this Dr.

This is my 2nd review and I'm not sure Dr. McGanity is still practicing. But, after having to see him again when my son broke both arms the following year from his first surgery and reading reviews left, I had to say something. If you're not the person w/ broken bones, why would you be offended he didn't talk to you? My son has seen him x times. Each time we've been there the doctor spoke to him 1st because I WAS FINE! LOL! Was sad to not see him again. Enjoy your retirement Doc. & thx!!

This man is rude and unprofessional. I took my 15 year old daughter to see him for knee pain acquired while running track. He never once acknowledged me (the mother) the entire time i was in the room. He spoke to my daughter only and referred to me as"she"! As a minor he should have discussed her treatment as well as medication with the PARENT as well as the patient. When I expressed my concerns to Paula his front desk staff, she didnt express any type of concern or symphathy. Horrible!

Overall, Dr McGanity is awful. He has his moments where you think you know what he's doing, but when all is said and done you realize that he doesn't. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He ruined my thumb. After his surgery, he messed up so bad that I've had to have 2 more surgeries by a different Dr to fix. My thumb joint had to be fused due to an infection that he didn't know how to diagnose. My symptoms were redness, swelling, fever, pain and he didn't know what was wrong. INFECTION

Dr. McGanity, actually waited an extra 20 min. for me to arrive for an appointment. I was his last appointment of the day. He was unrushed and didn't seem put out at all. A Dr. who waits for you ! Dr. McGanty did surgery on my wrist, Aug. 2015, He was great, so was my wrist. My wrist healed beautifully, All that remains is a silvery white line that has to be pointed out to find it.

I ended up breaking my tibia pretty bad and was referred to him by another orthopedic surgeon. Dr. McGanity was amazing and was able to repair my leg. He's a soft spoken man that shows a lot of compassion and even did the 1st bandage change while I was in the hospital. I highly recommend him.

Dr. McGanity was by far the least professional doctor I have ever met. His bedside manner is atrocious and the surgical plan was antiquated. Dr. McGanity even went as far as to imply that I injured myself on purpose and mentioned that I was unstable due to taking anxiety medicine. His staff hung up not only on the hospital nursing staff, but also myself and my family. He and his staff should be ashamed. I would recommend that all patients stay away from Dr. McGanity and his poor surgical plans.
