Dr. Peter Janicki, MD

You feel rushed with Dr. He lacks warmth and empathy in discussing serious issues like hearing loss. Forgot to discuss test results in one session.

Dr. Janicki is great at what he does. He has been my ENT doctor for years. He will not waste your time with unnecessary testing and scans when he does not expect to find anything useful or diagnostic. He is not looking for problems that are not really there, and not looking to sell questionable treatments. I would describe him as no nonsense and very pragmatic in his approach to patient treatment. I have referred others to him and have gotten positive feedback afterward from every person I suggested see him. A negative review from someone upset about having to wait a few weeks for a quick triannual followup visit is just laughable. That sounds like years of being successfully treated with no changes. If nothing has changed, what is the rush on getting back in? That is not an urgent problem. He may spend 5 minutes with the patient for the followup visit, but that visit requires much more time from the office staff before, during, and after his time with you.

Used him for years but office is very rude and was a patient for 20 years… I should not have to wait a month for a 5 min check. Office didn’t care if I was a long standing patient and had zero flexibility. Only come in 3 times a yr for 5 min a time…

If you enjoy being told there's no way you could be having sinus drainage without being stuffy, and that your cough and chocking are due to swelling and not the obvious phlegm that you're coughing up and swallowing every 30 seconds, and if you enjoy filling out all your medical history first online and then again while waiting there and the doctor doesn't even look at it. If you enjoy being told that there's nothing wrong with your sinuses or throat even though you've been suffering on and off for the last year, then this is the doctor for you! What a waste of time and money! And I was hoping for some help and answers and waited 3 weeks for this appointment. I should have read the other reviews regarding sinus issues and how they didn't get any help either. He spent less than 5 minutes with me and listened a little but kept interrupting with what he knew about my issues. The only thing I came away with was an invoice and anger.

Very helpful, Dr J has kind of an offbeat manner-I’ve gone to him off and on for years-BPPV and hearing loss. He was kind and helpful; but realistic and took the time to answer all of my questions.

Not sure which Dr. Janicki those who wrote negative reviews met, but my encounters with him have been professional and caring.

Dr Janicki has been my family's ent doctor for 20+ years. Love him, his staff and his bedside manor.

Very unprofessional. Absolutely won't recommend him. Doesn't do thorough exam and hands me a piece of paper to do "balancing exercises". Seriously. I leave still with ear pain and vertigo. Don't waste your time.

My visit of this week found this doctor to use poor judgment in his dialogue. Inappropriate and unprofessional. Really surprised me. Won't return.

Started out with basically a "what do you want?" attitude, then went downhill from there. Stuck the scope in my nose without giving any explanation about what he was doing. Did not look at my vocal cords, even though I expressed concern about them. I think I even heard him laughing about me in the hall with his nurse.

He was pretty dismissive.Saw me of all of five minutes and blew off some of the symptoms I was having, interested in just took the ones that applied to ENT diagnosis.When I brought up the other symptoms, he said, I don't know what those mean, but you have TMJj as if the other symptoms didn't matter. I think the other symptoms indicated that it wasn't TMJ. Don't trust his diagnosis.
