Awful care and support
Lack of care had to keep calling the office to find out what was going on with my care. Excuse after excuse. He told me that the best way to move forward with the cancer I have would be to have a double mastectomy. After having a 2nd opinion in Boston I don’t have to have a double mastectomy. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Other people I know warned me of this office but I tried to keep my faith in his office. So glad I didn’t stay. Dr Hartmann caused me more stress and anxiety than any other dr that I ever seen in my life for care.

Dr Hartmann and his staff are skillful and caring during a difficult time. He explained procedures and risks carefully and listened to my desire for breast conservation rather than mastectomy. It took multiple surgeries to obtain clear margins but I respect that he did it in increments. His staff was very helpful, when I went to Boston for a 2nd opinion they were supportive throughout. I felt very well taken care of and appreciate the skill, time, and care that was taken with me.

I've been seeing Dr. Hartmann since November of 2014. I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is. Extremely professional yet has a friendly warm manner. During a scary time they made me feel at ease. Not only is it close to home but also gives me the option to go to Beth Israel Hospital which I've done yearly for breast MRI's. Kathy Porter, Dr. Hartmann's nurse, always goes up and beyond. I feel blessed to have found the Gerrish Breast Care Center.
